Very happy with sending unit-fuel pump!
Fits and works like the factory unit! I reused the giant factory o ring because the one supplied was way to big. The symptoms for my daughters 2011 Hyundai Sonata low pressure fuel pump was it died at full throttle first, then got so bad it would not even run. From the first symptom it ran only a 1/2 of mile till it would not restart. No check engine light. I checked power to pump and it was good. I pulled the low pressure line off the high pressure pump and there was no fuel.

Fixed a 2011 Hyundai Sonata..
I was actually surprised that this fixed my Sonata !! O’Reillys or AutoZone wanted almost $500 for this part. so when ordering I was kind of skeptical about it. I’ve had it in for almost 2 years now & think it might be going bad but it was definitely worth the $100 versus $500 so here I am ordering another one.. My man fixe’s cars so he just pops it right in for me.. thank you Amazon !!I’d rather do this on a car that has high miles then spend $500 i’ll probably be getting a new car soon anyways but anyways it’s definitely worth it & works great..

Great replacement for a great price
My '11 Hyundai Sonata's fuel gauge was displaying the wrong fuel level intermittently a few years ago. I took it to the dealer and they wanted $150 just to look into what the issue might be. Being cheap, I lived with the issue by just going off of the mileage to get an idea when to re-fuel. This worked well (I even got used to the idiot light always being on) until the check engine light came on. I did the scan and the code told me what I already knew: The fuel sensor was dead.At O'Reilly Auto, I ordered the fuel level sensor and did the dirty work of getting into the gas tank, removing the entire pump module and replacing the fuel level delivery unit (the "float"). What a paint to replace a part of the unit, and the cost of the part was $75. So I replace the float and put everything back in place only to find out that noting works! Now I suck it up and order the pump module, go back in the tank and replace the the entire unit, button everything back up and cross finger. Fire the Sonata up and... Perfect! Should have just ordered this unit years ago...

Keep your original sending unit
Fit great and works great but the sending unit does not work. Was told if you have a Kia optima you have to reuse your oem sending unit. What a waste of time and money.
