Yellow was okay. Not as good as Nokya yellow, IMO, but not bad. Bulbs are a good brightness as well. Bulbs lasted exactly nine months, before one of the bulbs burned out. Fair, for the price you pay. Nokya bulbs went 3 years without issue, before I replaced them for general maintenance. Overall, these bulbs are fair for daily usage. I would suggest them to friends.

Brightness is down but I drive mostly during the day so I use them primarily as day time running lights. The are adequate for night driving though. The are brighter than normal bulbs. I love the look though. They are definitely high quality as most Hella stuff is.

Cheaper than the PIAAs that I was thinking about originally and made by a known (German) quality manufacturer, these bulbs are good quality made by Hella in Korea and sold in the US.First impression after I got the delivery were all good, lamps and packaging are on the same quality feel level as the Phillips Motovision that I used to have in the bike before. Bulbs came with DOT and E mark certifications.After several months and thousands of miles commuting on the motorway (sorry, freeway in US lingo) and through inner city mayhem I noticed that car drivers do recognise me earlier, I have much less near misses than before! I really can't believe it how great the effect is, the car drivers even do make more space for me now! Of course, there still is the occasional inattentive driver that does cut me off, but it is neither as often, nor as sudden as before.My theory is that in the sea of headlights car drivers can see in their mirrors, I stand out because of the yellow colour. Very occasionally I do see a car with yellow headlights and I see how much of my attention that draws to it- its just outstanding!The only slight downside is that all the white coloured road markings, reflectors and signs now appear yellow in the dark. I do also think that the low beam would not be ideal to ride fast(ish) on a rural roads at night, both due to the colour and because its not as much light output as the best premium (white) bulbs. My guess is that Hella put more effort in making these glow yellow than in getting more lumens out of them.For my riding though, 99% city and motorway, where the purpose of headlights is more to be seen whilst filtering through traffic than to see with its beam, the yellow Hella bulbs are perfect.

Installed on my 2012 Triumph Bonneville (bulbs sold in pairs, I'll have a spare) Super bright, super yellow, very impressed. Looks like the vintage yellow motorcycle headlights without the tacky headlight film. It'll definitely make riding motorcycles a little safer and more noticeable to other vehicles. 100% recommend these bulbs.

Nice lights, but did not seem that they are authentic Hella. These are like knock-offs

I purchased these lights for the sole purpose of being yellow for in my Miata. And they were even more yellow than I imagined. Obviously they're not street legal but I haven't been pulled over for them at all in the almost 2 months I've had them. And even being as yellow as they are, they're still quite functional as headlights except when the roads are wet. I love them and would highly recommend these to anyone looking for pure yellow lights.

I was searching and reading reviews of different amber bulbs. I wanted YELLOW. These bulbs are yellow! However, these bulbs do not last. I thought that maybe I got a bad batch so I ordered more. No luck! I emailed Hella and they never replied. Buy something else
