Melissa & Doug Zoo Friends Hand Puppets (Set of 4) - Elephant, Giraffe, Tiger, and Monkey

I purchased this set along with the Farm Friends set for my daughter for play time and story time. She loves them. She likes to cover both her hands with an animal puppet and run around the house making noises associated to the animal. For the Tiger she likes to go "meow meow" and makes it dance.These puppets are big enough to support most adult hand sizes, which makes it handy for story time and bed time readings. Like most Melissa and Doug items, the quality is really good and well made. If you want to wash these, I recommend gentle cycle in cool water and air dry.

These puppets are much nicer than I expected. They are bigger than expected too. Very cute and great quality.

This is a cute set and a great value for the price. We bought these for my youngest child at 10 months and he is still enjoying them at 14 months. They are nice and small and I often have one in my diaper bag. They are a little small for my hands though, and probably will work better for a child to do puppet shows than to use with a parent. The mouths don't open, but my baby still likes to try to feed them.

We bought these for my granddaughter for Christmas and she loved them. They are a little small for adult hands, but mine do fit in their though I do not have a very large hand. We had a tradition of reading stories at night and talking through our day with puppets with our son and he can now continue the tradition. They are of good quality as one expects from Melissa and Doug.

I got these for my classroom, but my kids have decided that they want them too! They are so soft and easy to wear (even with my big hands!). The colors are bright, the tails are stationary and the faces look happy. I needed puppets for online teaching, and I was recommended this cute little set.The puppets are nice, soft, and very cute! :) Love the details and colors on them.Only minor con is that they are kind of small for some adult hand sizes, so it’s not the most comfortable for some adults to use them. Just something to keep in mind. :)

Adorable way to teach story grammar in a fun way: beginning, middle, end of a story. Puppet can "read" a story in his voice to baby as mom's other hand holds the book. Lots of fun to teach baby the animal's sounds. Monkey coordinates with Curious George series, elephant with Babar, tiger with Tigger in Pooh series. Powered only by baby's and mom's imagination!
