Would be perfect if they were heavier and had primer cushions
Would have liked these better if the primers weren't recessed and instead had plastic or silicone "bumpers" in there to cushion the firing pin, so these aren't any good for dry-fire practice. However, they are GREAT for practicing reloads with speed loaders/speed strips, and they're a lot more durable than those anodized aluminum dummy rounds by other brands. Be aware that these are lighter than live rounds, so they won't drop into cylinders quite as readily without that nose-heavy lead weight in the end, if you're practicing quick reloads. But if you're just using these to train for the basic motions of reloads and/or you're using these to check the cycling/feeding on a lever-action carbine, they're wonderful.

Perfect instructional aid or use for dry firing drills!
Great product! Quality construction! I am an NRA Firearms Instructor and use snap caps in my classes for safety. When teaching a large group using different firearms, it saves me a ton of time to have snap caps in different colors, according to their caliber.The Ultimate Arms Gear snap caps are made of metal with colored plastic bullets. (not weak aluminum) These snap caps can stand up to the abuse of teaching how to clear jams. (such as stove pipe jams )Highly recommended!!!

Must have training aid
Some of the best few bucks you can spend for training purposes. Reloading a revolver is not easy or quick, but these inert rounds allow you to practice safely. As other reviews note, these are not snap caps, but most modern revolvers can be dry fired without issue.

Product Review
I am still not sure if this is a good purchase. Trying to teach my niece how to load and unload a weapon. It is good for giving her the feel of loading and unloading. It is nice to be able to teach her how to load and aim the weapon and not have to worry about her actually shooting it. However, you can achieve the same goal by keeping the empty shells after firing the weapon.If you are trying to train for quickly loading and unloading for competition, then I believe this would be more useful.

Works well with my S&W Bodyguard 38 Special
These are very light training rounds. However; they dropped right out of the cylinder when unloading, load very easily and also works well with speed loader.
