DMSOCream with Aloe Vera, 4 oz - Rose Scented Skin Moisturizer for Adults

I had this sent to me for my husband who was at the time in the hospital from a scissor lift which fell over with him in it. He had 4 fractured ribs, when I received it I applied it 3x a day. It helped tremendously and the bruising disappeared much quicker. We use gloves to put it on so that we don't end up with it on our hands (yes you can wash your hands but the gloves hold it in the finger area to spread where needed without affecting your hands) for the fact it seeps into the skin and works immediately. It is now a medical staple for our home. Thank you with much love to my Uncle for sending...it worked so well I purchased 2 jars...to share with others. Btw: hubby went back to work after 4 weeks, still sore and has 20 lb limit until the Dr releases him completely.*Be sure to clean area when applying due to skin absorbs through immediately.

Great product. We have bought the 100% DMSO in the 16 oz bottle before (and did again this time), but I actually like this product better, as it is not as strong (and has less odor and side effects), and it works well on my elbow and ankle arthritis.My wife pulled her biceps muscle traveling last week, and it hurt so bad she had to put it in a sling. I suggested she use this cream, which had just arrived. It worked well for her, and in two days, she went from having to sleep sitting in a chair with her arm in a sling and being unable to use her arm at all, to practically healed. By day 3, her muscle was fine, which was fantastic.And to think that I kept saying she needed to go to the Urgent Care place (since it was the weekend). Had we done that, our share would have been several hundred $$. Instead, this product healed up her muscle and this week she is back to normal. We are thrilled.One precaution for the novices: DMSO, or dimethylsulfoxide, is a great healing product, but it is also a solvent. Be sure that your body and your hands are clean. Use sterile cotton wads or pads to apply or a clean non-colored cloth that has no chemicals on it. Keep in mind that DMSO penetrates the skin and can carry trace chemicals with it, so you want to be careful when you use it. For example, when I put it on my ankle, I use a sterile cotton ball or cotton pad (you can buy these in bags at the drugstore) and then I put on a pair of clean white socks until the cream is absorbed. Also if you put on too much, or use it too often, mild skin irritation may appear at the site where you apply it. If this is a worry, either use less, apply it less often or cease applying it and the skin irritation will go away.

I tore a ligament in my wrist, and this instantly provided relief to it, feels amazing already, not going to jump right back to normal but definetly will be going back to boxing sooner than expected!

You can't find any videos on line about how to use for bruises, probably because you aren't supposed to, so I experimented. I have a chronic health issue that requires blood tests quite often and injections several times a year. With that many pokes, inevitably there will be a few that bruise when they miss the vein on the first try. It can look like I am some sort of drug addict when wearing short sleeves and makes me very self conscious.When using this, I applied it generously to the surface of the bruise, using a q-tip. I did it twice a day, for two days on a horrifically dark bruise that even had a raised, hardened line about a quarter inch in it. No idea why, maybe they were searching and scraped along the inside on my arm. This stuff worked to making it a barely noticeable, small yellow, as it might have normally reached after several days. I stopped and let it finish on it's own, which was basically gone by the third day. I already noticed results of quicker healing after the first application.While the bruise was dissappearing quickly, the surface bacame a little pick, it he'd a little and peeled a very little when scratched. I have fair skin, Celtics ancestry, so a lot of things can do that too me. I will experiment with using a little less per application and/or cut back on frequency, next time.Lastly, I was worried about it being rose scented. As a guy, I really didn't want to smell like roses, but it ended up being not as flowery smelling as I worried it would be. It is pleasant smelling, not strong and I would say it is unisex in it's smell. Now I just reviewed this giving details about a usage that this product is not FDA approved for, so use at your own risk for bruising. If I were still in sports, where bruising can be a daily occurance, I probably wouldn't use it that often, because of the warnings. For me, it is perfect to keep on hand for the occasional dark bruise in areas that I want cleared up quicker.

I am a long time user of this product. Practically instant relief. Great product.

This cream arrived yesterday. I applied it multiple times gently massaging it into my bicep and shoulder. I got absolutely no relief whatsoever. Another sleepless night :((( I bought this cream based on reviews from others and I’m extremely disappointed that it did nothing to alleviate the dull ache in my upper arm. I have been diagnosed as possibly having a tear in my rotator cuff. The MRI I had in January showed ‘Inconclusive’ results, so I am currently awaiting a second opinion from a different orthopedist. This product has a NO REFUND policy. The best thing about this cream is the rose scent.

I like the feel of this cream over the gel, but personally dislike the smell! The rose scent is overwhelming to me! Maybe it’s personal preference, but I won’t purchase this one again.

Excellent for massaging the feet.
