Q: Are they comfortable for a UK size 9.5.

I'm an 8 & they are fine. They work by looping a gel loop round your toes. I think the pad itself would be wide enough for a 9.5. What's likely to go first is the gel loop, as you stretch that to position the pad under your sole. I reckon I can use each gel pad 5-6 times before the loop breaks. But you get a fair number to a packet, and I'm OK with that.
