Perfect! Works right out of the box.
Perfect! This replaced my LG AKB72915239 remote that inexplicably died (I never watch TV). It looks exactly the same, has all the same buttons, and all I did was insert batteries and go. Absolutely perfect!

No coding needed!
I was amazed that there was no coding needed. I literally put in batteries and it worked immediately. Very pleased with this remote.

Very good unit for the money
After being forced by Spectrum to use their latest cable interface controller (which are very slow when channel changing) I tried to use the controllers issued with the new interface boxes. Out of the four units installed two refused to pair up with any Spectrum box. I already had one of these AKB72915239 Remote Control units and liked it very much. They pair up to the TV, cable box, and sound bar almost instantly. I returned the old interface controllers and the original clickers to Spectrum. I mentioned to the store manager about how poorly the issued clickers performed and what I had done to remedy that. He said I wasn't the first customer to make this exchange. He issued a credit to my bill for the cost of these items. All is well.

Great alternative to LG Magic remote.
I don't like the Magic remote very much that came with my LG C1 OLED. It doesn't have an energy saver button ffs. One of the weirdest omissions of all time since many people use it to dim their TV during desktop use. Anyway, this does the job nearly perfectly. You don't have the unique app buttons of course, but navigating is quite easy, and there are very few drawbacks for this user. Very light and solid. It might be cheap, but it feels fine to me, and the Magic remote feels even worse and cheaper in hand personally. Easy upgrade.
