These are extremely durable envelopes that are virtually indestructible. I use them to store my tax returns, however they would be perfect for mailing or storing any documents or pictures that you want to fully protect. While extremely strong, please keep in mind that Tyvek is extremely thin. If you're going to use these to mail out photographs, you'll want to place the pictures between two pieces of cardboard.In addition to using them for storing my tax returns, I've used them to mail out very old, but valuable magazines. As with photographs, I place the magazine between two pieces of cardboard. Since these envelopes are impossible to tear, you'll be guaranteed that anything you send in them will remain 100% totally protected. Received my new Tyvek envelopes. Very happy that they are safe for legal documents we may be mailing. Great product and price.

Excellent envelope strength, the self sealing could be better, it can be reopened and it does not go the entire length of the flap. Overpriced here available exact item 32% less expensive.

Arrived quickly and quality is very good. I love Tyvek envelopes because they do not rip and they are flexible. However, they are expensive at local stores and you get very few. Now I need to order some in a smaller size.

Good quality Tyvek envelopes. I attach adhesive address labels for mailing, and found that Tyvek is too slick to create a solid bond with the label, as a paper envelope would. The labels peel off Tyvek easily. Need to reinforce with tape. Likewise, am not convinced that the flap adhesive is secure enough to survive mailing, though it probably would. I tack the loose edges with tape to ensure a secure closure.

You have to love tyvek! You can send anything in the mail without tear damage. You can store old paperwork - mark it and know when you can destroy - knowing that its not easy to open and private papers remain private!

Excellent light weight mailing envelopes, that are extremely strong and tear resistant, while still remaining very flexible. It will be necessary to add a stiff piece of paper or cardboard, if you do not want the contents to be bent. I have not had any problems just using the envelopes as they are. I have not mailed photos in the envelopes.
