Q: Can this be used for rabbits?

NOT SAFE FOR RABBITS due to the inclusion of baking soda! Rabbits love to chew; should they eat these pellets, the baking soda would make them very sick! Best to stick with Yesterday’s News Unscented, which is recycled paper without baking soda. This is why the House Rabbit Society SPECIFICALLY recommends the Yesterday’s News Unscented formula.

Q: Can someone please explain to me how to scoop this litter?? I find that it's impossible to separate the used from the unused pellets.

I put a *very* thin layer of litter in the box, about a pellet or two deep. That makes it fairly easy to push the dry pellets away from the wet ones and scoop out the latter. If you have a cat who likes to stir everything together, you might try putting in even less than that (maybe one pellet deep over about half the box) and plan on dumping the whole thing every time there's pee.

Q: Where is the toxic Kerosine from the newsprint? Kerosine is poison, how did they remove it??

I have no idea, but I’m assuming they use cyanide and arsenic to remove the kerosene.
