Perkin PK666 Hunting Knife with Sheath Fix Blade Knife

This knife is awesome. When I received it the blade was dull, so I took it to the stone and had a razor sharp blade in no time at all. I like the weight of it and the balance, it's perfect for me especially when I go camping and fishing. This knive gets five stars for design and craftsmanship!

Really liked the knife. Came sharp out the the box. Great for camping and bush craft. Only problem was the pins that held the handle in place they seemed to have sheared of and now it’s in 3 pieces. So unfortunate I truly loved this knife. Even got one for my son who loves his. I guess I will have to buy another one. 😞

Never thought I'd find a 1095 rough use fixed blade for less that $30. Good temper, sharp out of the box, but not a razor. Aesthetic is a little plain, but then it's a $20 knife. Would have liked to have seen a lanyard hole on a handle that short. But I'll give them props on providing a sheath made for the more full figured folks. For any wondering the blade thickness is between an eighth and a quarter of an inch.

Absolutely love the knife really sharp out of the box. Only draw back is the sheath is too big for the knife as it makes it hard to pull the knife out when wearing it on a belt.

Amazing knife and Sheath. Top notch steel and finish competing with expensive German knives. Sheath is very good design and very good quality leather. I highly recommend this product. Five stars all the way.

To start off, this knife is heavy and solid. It almost feels too heavy because of its length. I understand that this is a value knife and things like jimping would have added to the cost, but with the length of the knife, the user has to choke up or move down to get a safe grip... beautiful work on the grip by the way. For hands like mine that are average in size, this puts the corner of the butt right in the heal of the hand and creates a hot spot with average use. Rounding the butt could also eliminate the hotspot. The ideal fix however, in my opinion is to extend the handle about an inch-and-a-half. This balances the blade out and gives more control considering the weight feels front loaded. Over-all, this knife is a tank for its size and with a few modifications like some jimping and rounding the butt should prove to make this knife a keeper. Well worth the money for someone who doesn't want to pay $100-$200 for a similar knife of a Name Brand.

Exactly as described. I love the texture of the blade vs the edge. Didn't come super sharp, but once I put a new edge on it has held without resharpening.If you're a fan of a fixed blade every day carry you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic purchase ....the blade is thick sturdy amd came razor sharp ..the handles scales are beautiful and so is the fit and finish...the sheaths are real leather, nice , well formed and practical.
