Planter shelf
Love them. Very sturdy and rustic looking. Second time buying them.

These are great!
You cannot fab and powdercoat these yourself for how much they charge - not sure how the place makes any money. Nevertheless, these where perfect for our pantry! Very sturdy! Would absolutely buy more of these when the next project comes up!

Easy to install, inexpensive and looks custom when finished
My boys were looking for solid shelves for their room that were big enough to display their LEGO collections, so many of the modern thin-depth floating shelves wouldn’t work. I also couldn’t find shelves that were long enough or didn’t have edges on them to interfere with random LEGO pieces that may need to overhang the shelf. These brackets were perfect, super simple, and allowed me to build shelves to match my boys' beds in the perfect length/width (at way less money than any shelves I could find in stores or online). I used 1x10’s... they sell these in the 8’ length at HD. I actually made each shelf 40” to match the headboard of the twin beds. I only used two 8' boards (and with only using 2 sections of 40", had 16” leftover with each board). Also, I stained my boards with Varathana polyurethane in Kona color. Just paint it on let it sit a minute and wipe it off with a rag. Highly recommend, one-step process, dries quickly and so easy. I used my own drywall screws to bolt the brackets to the wall and when I attached the new shelves to the brackets, new screws are also necessary because the screws included in the kit are too long for 1-inch wood and would've poked thru. Make sure you use a level. All finished! My boys love their shelves!

J-cup brackets
So I had originally bought the “same” thing at a traditional hardware store. These look feel and performed just as well and were a fraction of the cost!

Sturdy, nice finish, easy to install. Maybe not the best screws for the application.
I installed a shelf above my dining room with these, and they look great. I'm a big fan of the black matte finish, and the overall material seems plenty sturdy for the potted plants, books, bowls, etc. that I plan to support on my shelf. The one thing I'd note is that the screws provided appear to be drywall screws and come with anchors, which is all well and good, except for the brackets alone are quite heavy. Add a shelf and the items I plan to support on it, and I'm not risking that in drywall anchors. I'm going to drill straight into the wood framing behind the drywall. It would have been nice to supply wood screws. I had to go out and buy my own after the fact. But if you're not worried about these supporting too much weight, the drywall screws should be fine.

Nice brackets
Brackets feel nice and stiff and heavy, I purchased the ones for a 1x10" board and used a piece of select pine that I stained and clear coated. We had this space between a couple cabinets over the sink that was fairly wasted, so in an effort to use it and free up cabinet space at the same time I used these to build a shelf to hang my pans off of.The included wall anchors are useless, they will likely rip out just holding the empty bracket, they are that bad. The mounting screws to screw your board on are longer than expected, likely made for a 2" thick board. I used them still by cutting them short using a pair of lineman's pliers to chop them down by 1/3.In my situation I was able to mount the left two in the picture into studs, for the other 2 I used 3 white plastic Toggler 5/16" drywall anchors to make sure it was extra sturdy even though they're really not holding that much weight on that side. As is plus a couple more books on the left and some other decorations should be completely fine, I'm confident as I have it installed it should hold a fair amount of weight.

Not perfect for actual 12" board.
I love the look but had to rip the board by 1/2" to fit the brackets. It's not a true 12" board fit.

Shelf Brackets
These were the perfect size for my small room. They are sturdy and it was easy to mount on the wall. I purchased the shelf boards from Home Depot and had them cut it to the size of my brackets. Not too wide, not too heavy, not too thin. These brackets are great, I bought another 2 sets for my living room shelving.
