This was such a great purchase for the price. Looks great, comfortable to lean on while watching tv. I didn’t notice any smell when new. The only suggestion I would have is to include an adjustable bracket for mounting to any frame.

These headboards are substantial giving them a much more expensive look. The rectangular shape allows me to put two side-by-side on a split king bed, then separate them into two twin beds when needed. This makes them perfect for a guest room! Plus, they look great. White works in almost every design.

Product arrived with no issues. The white velvet material is good. Everything is just as described. It was easy to assemble and adjust the height to where we wanted it to be according to the height of the bed.

Online photographs can be deceiving when it comes to determining the color of an item like this one. I wasn't sure this was the right color for my room. It wasn't. One reviewer stated the headboard she received was teal blue and that was what I was hoping for. The headboard I received was not teal blue. It was more of a French Blue, which has no green/blue appearance and it clashed with my turquoise walls. Just the wrong color for me. This is a very heavy headboard and I didn't care for the velveteen fabric. I returned it.
