Does whats needed at a low cost...
....I spent some time looking at the X570 range of boards and this was the best option for my self at the price I was happy to pay. MSI offer a wide range of X570 motherboards to suit everyones needs and the gaming edge wifi was the one for me, it has good bios thats very easy to find your way around if you want to go down the overclocking route or mess about with the RGB settings, personally while I think it looks cool RGB has never been something I put on a list of 'must haves'. It Features (obviously) a PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slot the top M.2 is fitted with a heat sink while the lower 1 next to the onboard fan doesn't,it has a 802.11ac wireless interface able to go up to 433Mbps ,6 SATA ports to cover all your needs, not to mention it supports up to 128GB of 4400 ram a real plus point for me. A possible down side to this board is that the two PCIe 4.0 slots operate at x16, and x16/x4 so NVIDIA SLI isn't supported not that I'm to bothered by that but it could be an issue for some. The PCIe slots which run at x16 and x8/x8 with support for two-way AMD CrossFire multi-graphics card setups so if thats your thing then that could well be a bonus point. The I/O shield on the back has more than enough USB ports to cover your needs 7 if I remember right including a type C. If you're looking to get into PC's or PC gaming or maybe just fancy upgrading and AMD is the way you want to go you really should be looking at the MSI range and pick the 1 that fits your budget

It's a Beast
Just got my 3600X today, and this thing is a beast. Putting it under a H115i keeps it cool enough to hit 4.2Ghz at just 1.35v. I am coming from a 2600(non-X), and this is leaps and bounds ahead of the old processor. I would recommend that you stick with a X470 or B450 board unless you really need PCIe gen 4.0 or any of the other extras X570 offers. With the lower power draw than last generation, it should have no problem on most X470 and B450 boards. Most if not all need to have their BIOS flashed/updated to run Ryzen 3000, so make an informed decision on whether you need to borrow an older chip or find a board that can update without a CPU.I fully and 100% recommend this CPU and believe anyone will be happy with it in both gaming and workflows. As always, make an informed decision based off other users and reviews to make sure this is the best choice for you!

Headline!
Upgrading from my AMD Ryzen 5 1600, seeing the uplift on some of my favorite tech reviewers I can't wait to see the gaming performance this brings with it. WILL EDIT after I experience this beast.UPDATE just popped this puppy in my b350 asus prime motherboard after I updated the Bios to 5007 from EZ flash, And ran a synthetic and its scored 19085, Ram 3000 MHz out of the box no tinkering at all. TEMPS never went above 65C Corsair h100i.
