Worked great for sealing grout
I applied this to a tile job that consisted of a pre-sealed stone terrazzo tile and epoxy grout. This sealer kind of beaded up on the tile, but it soaked right into the grout. Previous to this the grout was just barely porous that water would trap in the joints and the stone would have a wet look. This sealed the grout lines, and no more water lines appear. Everything beads up and drains as it was supposed to. This product was a good price, and a great value as our tile folks were about to spend $2,000 tearing up the tile and doing it again to eliminate the porous tile spots.

Weak Concentrate formula Not Good
Been about 8 years since I have used a Silane/Siloxane Sealer, This Rain Guard Said it was concentrated and would make 2 gallons, after examining the liquid so called CONCENTRATE I determined it would barely make a good mix at 1 1/4 gallons which I mixed first and used. (Remember that this contains the silicon/silonox solids which draw into the material of whatever you spray) The solids content of this product is very watered down. The next day I mixed another concentrate bottle, I used only 1 gallon of water and still drew into the stone with marginal results. Will be lucky if it lasts 2 years. Save your money and buy a good concentrate-(Micro-seal Silane Siloxane Sealer), makes 5 gallons and still a lot better than this substandard sealer. This type of sealer draws in and dries clear, does not make it shiny and does not look like a acrylic top sealer.

Good so far.
I've just recently applied this to exterior stonework so I cannot attest to performance or durability yet. Application is simple and MUCH less expensive than having my house painter apply a similar product. It does not alter the surface color once it dries. For most areas holding a cardboard sheet to protect against overspray on painted surfaces was adequate as opposed to masking. Clean up is a snap.

Worked on Faux Rock
This worked on the fake rock surface on the front side of our house. I’m not sure the material, it’s not plastic though. I see the rain bead off of it where applied with no change to color compared to untreated sections. If you have mold or discoloration on the area coated that you can’t remove, that will remain under the sealer but it will still work.

Works well
We use it on our shower limestone shelf which is quite porous. The limestone is receiving all the water coming from the shower head and dripping from the wall tiles several times a day.If we do not use any sealer, the surface will eventually grow some grime and tiny specks of mold within the pores of the stone, with this sealer we are able to avoid this issue, because the water will sort of make it in droplets that do not penetrate the stone. We have to reapply it almost every month due to the fact that 3 or 4 showers per day are a lot of water the stone has to deal with.
