Hathaway Pool Table Combo Set with Benches

I was very skeptical about ordering a pool table online, but this is great. It took about an hour and a half to put together (I used a cordless screwdriver to help speed it along). The quality is great, and the kids (teenage boys) love it. They use the top to play poker, and everything stores neatly in the benches. I wish there was a way to store the ping pong/table cover when not in use. It is very heavy and difficult to lift off the table.

This Pool table is Garbage ,Warped in the middle makes it impossible to get leveled...There's no Customer service.I feel like I'm just out of $1500.I give this product minus 2 stars 👎🖕

Be warned...this sucker is heavy. It comes in two boxes, each is in excess of 200lbs. Total shipment weight was 592lbs. Even with 4 people, we had to unbox the pieces in the driveway, and carry them individually into the house. The table surface alone is easily 1/2 the total weight. A lot of folks seem to have had difficulty with CEVA delivery. I was able to track the shipment online, and it arrived at CEVA's distribution center in Denver on Thursday morning. A quick call to Amazon confirmed that CEVA would deliver the following Tuesday. The forecast for Tuesday was blizzard conditions and heavy snow, and I live up in the hills, so I called CEVA to see if I could pick up the package at their distribution center on Friday afternoon. They were easy to deal with, and very accommodating, so I suspect that the issues described in other CEVA shipping reviews are likely with the local contract carriers they use for the final delivery. I was barely able to fit the pallet containing the table and benches, loaded by a fork lift provided by CEVA, into the bed of a full size Toyota Tundra with the tailgate down.Be prepared for a significant cardboard recycling adventure, as the packaging is without a doubt the most robust I have ever seen from a purchase through Amazon. I would guess that at least 80lbs of the total shipping weight is from the packaging, which includes a wood pallet, triple layer boxes, and additional reinforcement in the form of particle board panels and corner protection. Mercifully, styrofoam is kept to a minimum, with just a single small square in the bench package. Enough foam wrap however to fill a large leaf bag. Suffice to say the table arrived in excellent condition.The table itself is wonderful. It was very easy to assemble, however, you will need more than one other person to flip it over once it is assembled. The benches I received are nicely padded, and reasonably comfortable. The table was simple to level, and plays well. Certainly not professional grade, but lively enough for amateurs such as myself and my friends, and for the price, it is a very good value. I dinged it one star only because plastic ball pockets, cues, and ping pong paddles are so ridiculously cheesy and cheap. The two 2 piece cues that come with the table weigh in at a staggering 10oz. Plan on purchasing some real cues if you go with this table. I bought 2 nice 21oz single piece cues on Amazon for under 20 bucks a piece. Well worth the investment.

When we bought it off Amazon it said we had the option for room delivery but would not let me process the order with it. So we were annoyed but not surprised when a single guy was here for delivery and would not put it any further than our garage. Fair enough. What wasn’t fair enough was the listing saying that the table was a little more than 300 lbs total and finding that we had 2 boxes, one weighing about 150 lbs and another weighing about 350 lbs. That’s a far cry from the weight we were expecting. We still powered through and managed to get everything down into our basement, just the 2 of us. And then we saw the tear in the felt. No problem, I read the previous reviews and knew the company would take care of it. In the mean time, I sewed it up as best I could so we could still play while emailing the company.The company’s response was fast and professional. The issue we had was they sent us a ‘replacement’. Now I assumed that meant a replacement felt for the top of the table. No, they sent us a whole new 300lb table top box. And told us to just dispose of the other one. 🤦🏻‍♀️The second table top’s felt was fine so we moved it into the basement, this time paying the delivery driver $40 to help my husband get it down there. Only to find out after complete unboxing that one of the bottom pieces was not in place correctly. We did managed to get it assembled anyway so we just left it as we could not take a THIRD top into our basement. Next we had to pay a company $80 to haul away the damaged table top to the dump because our trash men could not take it (don’t blame them one bit). So we are out an additional $120 we didn’t expect to pay for an error on the company. Not happy about that.The actual table is very nice. We like the storage in the benches and it converts easily to table tennis. We did buy extra (nice)pool sticks and paddles based on other reviews and let the kids use the ones that came with it. I just wish the company would invest in people to replace the damaged felt instead of sending out a whole new heavy table top as their solution.

I’m so happy! I got exactly what I paid for and my husband agreed with me that it is a high quality item! We decided to get this table instead of the traditional one. We were also worried as many times you don’t get what you see when you buy online. Super easy to assemble, it is heavy though, make sure you have some extra help. I totally would recommend it. We are loving it! We put it in the basement and we used it to eat pizza and it’s so comfortable! We cleaned and opened to have fun and played for hours!

Updates:We have had this pool table for over a year!We have taken it through a move, and I have to say I still love it.The surface is smaller than standard regulation of course. So when you go to play pool on a larger table you have to readjust.We have the ping pong side up during Christmas so we can hang our lights! We actually use it as our dinning table. It's a great piece.Best purchase for our house. We use this as our dining table. So much fun and great in an open concept home. We entertain all the time

Worst thing I bought. Pool table uneven. Ping pong table not regulation. I would never recommend this cheap item.
