35 oz Bella Sun Luci Sun Dried Tomatoes Halves in Olive Oil

Definitely the best. I used to buy these jars all the time at Costco, but they quit carrying it where I live. I was delighted to see the big jar for sale here at Amazon, and although the shipping is high, the product is worth it. I've tried some other brands of sun dried tomatoes, they are uniformly awful, usually tough, overly dried, an unappetizing color, ugh, just terrible. These are lovely moist slices, I consider them to be a staple in my pantry. The oil, by the way, is delicious with Italian herbs, I use it on grilled cheese sandwiches and they are divine ... this is best when the jar is nearly empty so you can a nice dose of the herbs that are in the bottom of the jar ... use a pastry brush, and paint light amount on the outside of the slices of bread, no need to overdo it. Grill in frying pan, both sides, and savor the result, you will be delighted, I promise. The oil is an added bonus, in my opinion, whereas with other brands, meh, discard. I considered buying a jar of the julienned tomatoes as well as the halves, but decided to just go with the halves, I can cut them thin myself if that's what's needed. Looking forward to receiving my latest order, and regardless of the shipping cost, if this is how I have to get them, I'll do it, they're that good. I saw after one of the other reviews that these are supposedly going back into Costco stores, but that's not the case where I live.

Excellent flavor and comes in this large economy size. I use them especially for my spinach, mozzarella pineapple, grilled chicken and yes sun dried tomato salad.

Love everything, mostly clean ingredients, made in California (which surprisingly taste as good as the Italian ones), they live in a good quality olive oil (which I use to sauté them in), this olive oil is also what retains their soft texture, they taste as good as they look, yes a bit pricey but a little goes along way…I use it in everything from a frittata to a pasta dish, def recommend this product

Super chewy, almost hard texture. Not pleasant to eat as a whole piece.If you are going to blend them into a pesto or puree, they might be OK.But you're probably better getting another brand that is more versatile.

Love this product, but the packaging needs to be better! The seal popped and some of the olive oil leaked out during shipping! I kept it because previous reviews also reported this issue. I do love these sundried tomatoes. Costco used to carry them, but no longer. I can only get them here! Taste great! Good value!!

The Bella Sun Luci Sun Dried Tomatoes in Olive oil, are hands down the BEST sun dried tomatoes I have ever eaten in my long life...and I'm old and eat a lot of tomatoes! I buy both the halves and julienned/sliced versions, because I love the halves on home made pizza, focaccia and bread and love the sliced ones in stews, pastas, salads, and sautes without the mess of slicing olive oil coated tomato halves myself... Makes a delicious Caprese Salad too. Yes they are pricey, but a little goes a long way and the flavor and texture they add to your food is so worth it. Just a hint, top off the tomatoes with more olive oil if they are above the oil level, keeps them soft, and you get MORE delicious oil to dress pasta with!!

I’m very satisfied with these! Much less expensive than the grocery store and better quality than the name brands offered there.Very good flavor and lots of uses for them. I’ve already made a garlic, white wine and olive oil scampi with these sun dried tomatoes and boneless chicken breast. I also used them in a cold Italian pasta salad. Honestly they’re good enough to eat right out of the jar!😋. Try them as a pizza topping too! I highly recommend buying these. Very satisfied with this purchase!!!
