I had the previous version of the mask and used it regularly for over a year. It died on me just outside of warranty. I immediately purchased another mask. I emailed the company through their website and wanted to know if there was a repair option or any discount for being a previous mask owner. They just sent a replacement without any hassle. Now I have 2 mask.The upgraded mask is very nice with a braided cable and snap button cover instead of the old velcro cover. The cover stays on better and you don't have to worry about the velcro fraying and wearing out after repeated cleanings.If you are a chronic dry eye sufferer you have likely already spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars trying different treatments.This mask is 100% worth the price if you ask me.I use it twice a day from 5-8 minutes at a time. It takes about 1-2 minutes to fully heat up. I use it with a portable USB battery and it makes it so convenient to not have to find a plug. If you are used to using microwavable heat bags, like a Bruder Bag, this is so much better. The heat stays consistent and the portability and ease of use help you be consistent.I truly believe that if you are consistent using the mask twice daily you will find some relief and improvement with your dry eye. Especially if you have Meibomian gland disorder.

I've had this eye mask for about a year, and the first few weeks it worked great, then the controls started not always working right - not always turning on, I'd have to turn it on several times before it would actually "stick". For a few months I was using a specific plug that the eye mask seemed to "like" and work well with, and after a while even that wasn't working. Bottom line, it's dead now, can't get it to come on at all. The mask does fit the eyes very well, and is comfortable, but it cost 5 times what others cost on Amazon, and I bought this one because it was reviewed highly and it seemed that the higher price would guarantee performance and longevity - wrong. Two months ago I bought a $25 mask that works great, and because it doesn't have a cord, it's easier to use, and I can recharge it after use. I wouldn't recommend this mask because it's just not made well enough for the price.

Best thing I have done for my dry eyes! I can have it heating fully and steadily for 10 minutes to 60 minutes! I like it at 60 minutes, the best. After I remove it, I gently massage the eye lash areas, to milk the excess oil out of the glands, as well as, removing the excess oil off the surface of my eyes. Then, I wash my eyes (face) with gentle soap.I get the best eye pain relief with this mask.It melts the sticky oil on the surface of my eyes and in the glands at the base of my eye lashes, perfectly. What a relief! I use it morning when waking up (20 minutes) and at night when I go to sleep (60 minutes). Once in a while, I use it during the day. In the beginning I had to use this a few times during the day, as well. Now, it is twice a day. This really does work! Best money I have spent on myself!Also, my eye doctor also put me on 'Eye Relief' pills by Doctors Advantage. So, with both of these great products, and improving my diet, I know my eyes are in good health, now. I know I am not going to go blind, anymore.At first, I was using wet hot wash cloths, but I needed to continuously get up and reheat it with super hot water.Then, I bought the Bruder Mask, I like it, but I needed to keep reheating it in the microwave, also. Apparently, I need to heat up those oil glands at the base of my eyelashes longer than other people.Because the excess oil now pools in the inside corner of my eyes, each time I use it, I fold a Kleenex tissue into 4ths, place it on my eyes, then place the mask on my eyes. This way the excess oil is absorbed into the Kleenex, not the mask. I am going to buy small handkerchiefs or buy soft material and cut to fit. This way I can wash them and have a clean ones each time I use this wonderful mask. You know, the whole recycle thing, instead of going thru so many Kleenex tissues!I have had zero problems with this mask, it works perfectly.I am extremely happy with it!I highly recommend it!

When it works, it works well. However, mine just stopped working pretty quickly. I didn't use it as much as I should, but it died after only 20 uses. I won't purchase again. Something this expensive shouldn't die so quickly.

Love the even heart flow, love the item. Just wish they had s protective cover so it would not get soiled from oils that are on my eyes. It cannot be cleaned. I asked the mfr for a solution. They said they would get back to me in regards to some type of cotton shield that I could put over it so the oils, or any bacteria from eyes would not get on the mask. Other than this issue; I love it, but am afraid to use it without a protective shield.

This is a great product. I use this several times a week and it is hugely beneficial. Having a plug in mask is a real game changer for my MGD. My eyes are much less dry and more comfortable during the day when I’m using it regularly, and it’s really convenient not to have to heat a mask up in the microwave every time. I also love the little cloth covers they include to wrap around the mask. It’s great to have two of them, so I can toss one in the washing machine periodically and keep everything clean for my eyes.About a year after purchase, it did start not staying on while I was using it, unless I hold the cord in a certain way without letting it move at all. I was bummed. But after reaching out to the company, they sent a replacement with virtually no hassle! That’s rare in this day and age. I was honestly prepared to just buy another, as it’s well worth the money to me, but I really appreciated not having to. Great company, great product.
