MEDca Digital High Power BTE Hearing Personal Sound Amplifier

I have a need to increase the high tones and fit comfortably and this unit has done a great job for 3 months at which time it just stopped working. I am ordering a new one to replace the one the stopped working. It appears to me that the connection between the wire and the speaker disconnect. I would like NewEar to make available replacement wires instead of having to replace the entire unit. If anybody knows how to repair the wire please let me know. The sound quality is the best I have had with the exception to the break down

For the first hour it worked great. Had to tell my wife not to talk so loud and I turned the TV down!!! Then, 60 minutes later, nothing! Thought it was the batteries so I bought $15 bucks worth and still not working. Amazon refunded my money!CHEAP P.O.S!!!

Was very pleased at first with sound quality and comfort, but it stopped working after just a couple of months.

My current hearing aid broke and I had to order one that could get to me right away so I can work and function. It's sensitive to outside pressure, so much so that the weight of my hair constantly sets it off to an awful high pitched noise. The sound is good though, I have severe hearing loss in my left ear so it has to amp the sound up a lot and I think that's why I'll work with it until I can upgrade.*****update*****I've now had this hearing aid for about a year and a half. I changed the plastic attachment that sits in your ear and it was a world of difference. Still squeaks when something gets too close, but not nearly as much. I just bought a new one of these aids, as the price is right and this one is beginning to glitch a bit, and I have a big business trip next week that I have to be on my toes for. I may use the one I have now for my right ear to see how it goes as I have hearing loss in that ear.

A bit disappointed. The amplifier distorts the sound giving it a buzzier fuzzier frequency that makes discerning words difficult. Also the tubing is a bit short, so the device sits cockeyed and will fall off if I nod forward.

The New EAR Digital High Power BTE Hearing Personal Sound Amplifier "NEW RELEASE" has returned my hearing to as near as possible a natural sense with out spending thousands of dollars. After I learned to set them they were almost unnoticeable to me. I've already recommended them to friends with hearing problems. It has got to be one of the best hearing amplifiers on the market at any price.I'm writing this in May after purchasing it in March. I was having trouble keeping the earpieces in my ear canals and in frustration I took the soft rubber pieces off and found they work better, for me anyway, without the pieces. If you have the same problem you might want to try them that way. also experiment with the tone setting in different situations ie: restaurants, movies etc.

Ordered on November 10th. Just opened it today. Went through 2 different battery packs from two different stores thinking my batteries were the issue. It’s not the batteries. I’m disappointed. I have ordered these in the past and usually get a year out of them. It’s beyond the return window even though it was purchased during the holiday season of extended returns. Their quality is not what it used to be. Save the $54 and buy a different brand

I love the sound quality of this product. I realized how much I wasn't really hearing once I used it. The only draw back is I have small ears and the ear piece won't stay in my ear even with the smallest size. So unfortunately I can not use it.
