Perfect for my son's smaller size 20 bike with 1/2" pedals
Every "mountain" bike style pedals that either came with 14" or 20" bikes, had no ridges or grooves on the pedals for shoes to grab onto. After searching all over Amazon, I came across these pedals that would fit onto my son's 20" smaller frame bike, so I ordered these up. Shipping took a bit longer than I would've hoped (about 8 days), but once I got them I could immediately tell the pedals themselves were larger than what you see on most kids' mountain bikes, but it had the 1/2" threads on it.After my 7 yr old has been using these pedals for the past couple of months now, I can tell these are a HUGE improvement over what he had before on his bike - the original slippery plastic pedals. These pedals are wider so there's more room for his feet, and that's good for him since he's been learning to stand up and pedal more now. The grip on these pedals is really noticeable and I don't ever see his feet slipping off anymore like they used to before.Great pedals at a good price. With they could've offered some in metal in a 1/2" size, but these are the next best things.

Great beginner flat pedal
We got this all plastic pedals for our testing and product development test bikes, and we used them on 2 different bikes. The test riders are new to mountain biking, and we wanted a pedal that would provide good grip, but would not be as hard, sharp or damaging as a full metal pedal with metal pegs on the pedals. The Odyssey Twisted pedals are great for this, they still have grip, but don't damage the shines or calf as much a a full metal pedal would. They got 6 months of hard riding on them and they are holding up quite well. Great beginner flat pedal.

Favorite mountain bike/commuter pedals
Great pedal that really grips your shoes. I like the traction without having to get pinned pedals that can destroy your shins.

Did the job
Decent plastic pedals 4 the price.

Long lasting
They are thick plastic pedals. They last long and slide well in pedal grinds. They don’t grip your shoes the best but they don’t grip your shin very well either.

Great pedals but question/answer forum led me to order wrong size
These pedals are great. I've been using a pair on a bike I ride daily (for over 5 years) and the Odyssey pedals have no signs of giving up anytime soon. Only issue I encountered when ordering was thinking I needed the 1/2" size vs 9/16" based on (what I thought were) confusing answers in the question/answer forum.I mistakenly bought the 1/2" size but it turns out I need 9/16". Every bike I own seems to take 9/16" (Cannondale Quick commuter bike, 1980s Ritchey mountain bike, Tern HSD, ...) so if in doubt, you're best off ordering the 9/16" size.

Great pedals, don't hesitate to buy.
IMHO one of the best pedals on the market at a great price. Have purchased multiple pairs and used on multiple bikes.Use on my rider and they hold up to regular use, and also look great on bikes in my collection.
