The Nike Downshifter 9 with lightweight mesh upper ensures breathable comfort. The closed mesh provides structured support for sprints. The flex grooves under the foot adapt to movement, while the continuous foam softly cushions every step.

Better Than Ever
I've had almost every version of the Zoom Vomero since version 6; and this is easily the best. It's a tiny bit less plush, but that is an improvement—less rubbing on the Achilles for instance. Gravel doesn't get trapped in the underside, but it's still quite grippy. It looks sharper than ever and feels wonderful. A shoe that is great for all-day wear but can double as a running shoe and handle trails as well. If I'm packing light for a trip and can only bring one pair of shoes—these are definitely the ones I'm bringing.

OLDER MODEL
This is the second pair of this model I purchased. They look great, comfortable, quality build, and are great for my daily 5 mile walk/jog. As stated above, this is an older model replaced in couple of years ago. Hard to find.

This year/model is really good
ok old-man runner here. I do 3 miles, 4 times per week at 8 minute miles. I have used nike air for many years, this model seems to be better than normal. The cushioning is excellent, I can feel a strong mid-toe air-cushion which absorbs a lot of impact. The look is new and refreshing, the material feels durable, laces are great - dont come undone. I keep my shoes for about 500 miles, I am probably 40 miles into this new pair.Don't wait, just go get some.

Pretty good
Overall I like these. At first, I was a bit shocked and dismayed as I'd spent a lot for a brand new pair of Nikes and they didn't arrive in their original box... instead the Amazon box explained that the original box had been damaged...but as I thought more about it I realized that they're trying to cut down on shipping costs meaning a little and light weight packaging as possible while also simultaneously trying to prevent thefts of deliveries like higher dollar name brands like Nike. The shoes look nice and fit well. I really like the sporty modern yet somehow a tad retro style. The offer lots of protection and support yet are thin and breathe well which is great for my feet especially while running or working out. No major complaints or issues to report. I would recommend them!

Great for all day wear.
Trying out a few different running shoes. I supinate and have high arches. I thought these would be a good secondary shoe to my primary shoes, the ASICS Nimbus 22. These are comfortable, light, fit well, but the Nimbus 22s feel a bit better in terms of support for me personally. The fit is perfect, but I don’t think I’ll train in these shoes much, if at all. That being said, I encourage folks to try them out if you’re in need for a basic, comfortable, all day shoe. I know a lot of people love these shoes, so I am sure that they work for the vast majority of people out there, just not me.

So comfortable
I have flat feet so having a good shoe is very important to me. Add to that, I work in maintenance and I’m constantly moving around and standing on my feet for 8 plus hours a day. These shoes are excellent. Super comfortable, very light and they look good to.

Quality
Great shoe for the gym, paths, or just walking around. Fit is to be expected. No complaints with this version when I compare them to my Pegasus trail runners

The new ones are garbage
I purposely searched the depths of Amazon for another set of 36’s after trying out a newer set of the 38’s. The 38’s felt flat and seemed to force me to over prone. Even after some break in I just didn’t like the feel. I went back and tried my old 36’s, and felt better. So then I picked up another set on close out here and they to feel great again.I don’t use the Pegasus on race day (prefer the Zoom Fly’s for that) but for pounding out mileage, I get a good solid 300 miles on a set before they get retired to walking around shoes..
