Perfect size small is suitable for women.
It was well made. I found it very useful for reading my book without having to use both hands and breaking the back of the book. I pass my books on & its nice to keep them in good condition. I bought one for my daughter too & if she likes it will buy for my granddaughter too. Very quick delivery & will be checking out their site for other ideas.

Comfortable and attractive wide, wooden book holder
I already have one of these as I have intermittently painful hands. The one I have is 3D printed and only half the depth of this one so I still have to use quite a lot of strength to hold my book open. I saw this reviewed by a book blogger and liked that it is made of wood so decided to try a thicker version. It is a lovely piece and I am trying it now on the 664 page paperback I am currently reading. It is comfortable and easy to use on different parts of my thumb. Fingers crossed

Functional but...
I bought 4 of these, for myself and family. Used it last night. It does work but, given the pressure you have to apply to keep it pressed in place, I found my thumb aching after a while. Size was about right (I measured my thumb before purchase) and it is light and very easy to use. Makes a good fidget tool when you are resting your aching thumb!

Great little gadget for holding the pages open while reading a REAL book, lol. Very light weight but very strong. Very smooth. Does the job easily and looks exquisite. Very pleased with it.

Looks the part but . . .
A lovely crafted piece of wood. The idea is great and it is great if you are keeping a book open at a specific page for a while e.g. while reading a long passage or repeat reading the same text for perhaps, learning a language. Not however so good if used with a simple novel that requires you to turn pages often : it gets in the way.Make sure you get the thumb size right.

Probably……
…….the best product to solve a problem that just does not exist.My daughter wanted this and in fairness it does work and it works really well.If she is still using it next month I will be impressed. An excellent first world solution to a first world problem
