Favorite CI Ratchet cutter
I mean sure, you can get the ratchet cutter for the ProPress and I’m sure those are nicer, but dragging this under a crawlspace with a 1/2” Impact wrench is a lot less money than dragging the ProPress. Fast, works great, durable… worth the investment.

Good tool
Good tool. Just make sure you get the most powerful impact wrench you can find. Will snap the pipe in seconds

RIDGID
The media could not be loaded. This Ridgid soil snapper is a life saver. Gets into tight places where you don't have room to swing a traditional ratchet snapper. Love this tool! Yes, I keep it in a Milwaukee case because ridgid hasn't sent me one yet...

EXTREMELY CLEAN CUTWS IN CLAY PIPE
We have an old house. the soil pipes are clay once they leave the house. This cutter easily cuts the clay pipe as if it had been made that way. Easy to use, excellent results. BEWARE, the cutters can slice your skin. Not deep, but the conditions are not where you want to cut yourself.

Plastic handle that breaks easily
I can't speak to how it works for cutting pipes. I got this for splitting geodes which it works well for. I was extremely disappointed with the handle. It is entirely made of plastic, including the area that threads into the cutter. It broke immediately as I tried to torque down on the first rock. There is no way I should be able to break the handle off something this expensive and heavy duty. The weight of the tool alone could easily break it if you rested it on it.
