I have a very expensive fillet knife that always gets fought over at fish cleaning time. The special thing about the knife is it is sharp on both sides and has a slight hook on the end that allows you to quickly change knife direction and gives better control. You do need to keep in mind that both edges are sharp it is easier to cut your fingers if you are not careful. The other big advantage is you can fillet a lot more fish before you need to sharpen this knifeMy expensive knife is about $150 and this one is every bit as good and actually a little easier to grip. It may not be as flashy but it is every bit as functional.If you fillet fish you simply need this knife.

Amazingly great knife for the value, it is super sharp and it holds an edge when you resharpen it. It has edges on both sides which came in surprisingly Handy. Highly recommended love it. Dead on the other side has a blunt tip which you can use to cut the fish without tearing through the guts.

This knife is stupid sharp! But that’s a good thing!!! This is a GREAT knife for the price! I love the little “hook” on the end! VERY sharp and comfy to hold. One downfall the knife doesn’t stay in the sheath, it just sorta sits there. If I turn it over holding the sheath the knife just falls out. Not sure if this is just one that is faulty or if that are all that way, but I plan on getting a few more for gifts!*(added note) Lost my knife today at the lake! It fell right out of the sheath into the lake! Gone! I grabbed it by the sheath along with my fishing pliers and fish grips and the knife slid right out of the sheath and into the water as I got out of the boat and onto the dock! Oh well at least it was less than $10.

I liked the fact that it came with a sheave an it does everything I need it to do and more.What I disliked about this knife is I had to strap it to my left side. Then I figured out how to wear it. Now my dislike is a like..

Caution! Both sides of blade is sharp... I keep cutting myself

I like that the knife has a very sharp edge even along the back edge plus the part raised on the back edge of the tip. Very comfortable in the hand with attractive colors. Flexible enough to be used efficiently in cleaning fish or cutting meat.

Sharpe but not as flexible as my old one, looks to be well made and should work well on larger fish. I’m hoping it will soften up with use.

Blade is stiffer than I had expected. Cant complain, well constructed, sheath is a bonus.
