Meh. You DO NOT get what you pay for!
The flavor of these is more reminiscent of truffles than actually the whole bodied truffle experience I was hoping for. Based on the reviews I thought I was going to enjoy them more. Even the oil just barely has any truffle flavor, and it tastes ‘off’ so I will not be using it in my cooking.Also, the weight is not just the truffles, most of it is the oil. There is no returns on this expensive product, buyer beware. Very Disappointing.

Maybe not better than nothing
Didn't smell right when I opened the can, and I'm comparing these to Ditman's offering. It says 350 grams on the label, but I use 50 grams at a time in my recipe and I got only three batches, so 150 grams of truffle and 200 grams of oil for about $50, and it's poor quality.

If you like truffles and cannot go to Europe, buy this. The taste is all there.Do not get truffles in brine as all you would taste is the brine.

Great flavor
I was very happy with this product. I’m a chef in la and I needed some truffles over the weekend. I got them a day later. They were very fragrant and tasty.

Excellent truffles
These summer truffles are very good. They are sliced thick, and they are in an oil that can be used as a marinade or even in salad dressing. The flavor is excellent. Since it is almost impossible to find reasonably priced black truffles, these are a very good as a substitute and priced so not to break the bank.
