This is not foundation. It is a serum, you put it on before moisturizer which you put on before foundation.

Q: i bought vitamin c activating squares, it says to mix with water and "serum solution". what serum are they talking about?

Any Mary Kay serum will work, such as this one or the night solution... The squares are meant to be used at night, so never use the day solution as a serum!

I used mine in place of day time serum.
