what a fantastic find these were!! a bit larger than i was expecting but that`s my own fault for not looking at the spec properly , they`re very light (so size isn`t really an issue for camping applications) , very grippy on standard paracord and they appear VERY strong! (i think the manufacturer has underestimated the strength rated at 45kgs) , i`ve bought two lots now and they are an essential part of my camping setup being versatile enough to be used to strap a tent/sleeping matt to the underside of my rucksac and as a quick lightweight ridgeline for a 4x4 tarp with just a length of paracord (they will larcs head through the loops of a DD tarps tie-outs) , they`ve also been used to secure things to the pillion seat of my motorbike . buy them!! you won`t regret it

These are a fantastic idea. Made putting up our tent and guy roads a lot easier. Did just tie the end back on itself to be 100% safe as never used them before. Really made the job a lot easier. I would recommend them to any one.

They'll do a job however the teeth don't offer the "bite", or grip, I would need for the chord I'm using which is 3mm size. There are only three relatively shallow teeth on this item whereas on the more expensive original figure 9 (from nite ize) the longer and sharper teeth travel the length of the gripping area and will hold almost any thickness of chord or rope. I'll find a use for these but will pay more for the premium nite ize product knowing it will work better (and safer).

Bought the 'Angzhili Rope Tightener, Figure 9 Aluminum Alloy Cord Adjuster' for tying down domestic-weight loads to internal tie-down points in a trailer. They make the task easier and faster than pulling slack cord through a ring or using snap-hooks and knots.
