It's a glass bottle with a cork in it... enough said.But no, it's a fine and solid bottle. I used it for a costume and it didn't chip or break during my masquerade, so it works well! It's cheap, a nice classic glass corked bottle shape and seems to be made from decent quality material.

Awesome bottle! Mouth is a little small for "message in a bottle"
This is very well made and sturdy! My only problem was just how small the opening is. I put a written note in it with a string tied around it and it took everything to get the paper out! My wife and I had a good laugh at that.

The cork is flimsy
My husband needed glass bottles to transfer the last 8oz of his whiskey and they were the perfect size. The cork was really light and flimsy so thankfully his original whiskey bottle corks fit so he just used those instead.
