I bought this replacement battery a couple months ago, so far it's performed beyond my expectations.The install was pretty straight forward, I recommend watching a few online videos before beginning. Breaking the seal on the watch was not easy, I bent the tool prying the back off the watch, don't be suprised if this happens.I felt like I was missing something during reassembly, the battery basically sits in the watch, it's not really affixed to anything... this took me a few minutes to get my mind around.As far as battery life, a full charge lasts me about 4 days, with about 20% charge remaining. Much better than the OEM battery.I was pleased with the overall quality of the kit and ease of replacement. If you're a person with a normal amount of mechanical aptitude, the replacement shouldn't pose any significant concerns.**Update 4/26/25Almost 5 years later this watch battery is still working great.

About a year ago, I bought my brother-in-laws S3 Frontier. He had said he just had the battery replaced but under normal use, I found the battery barely making it through the day. After watching a YouTube video, I found a battery swap to be within my skillet. Bought this battery, install was about 15 mins and painless. I was impressed the first day, only losing about 20% thru a full day of wear. Excellent battery life. I cant attest to how itll hold up a few months from now but as it stands, I'm surprisingly more happy with this battery than I ever had expected. Well worth the $13 bucks. Much better than 500 on a new watch!

This is an awesome kit. It comes with everything you need to replace the battery in your galaxy gear s3. I bought this because my battery would only last 15 minutes and after replacement with this battery is back to the normal 1-2 days. Instructions are good, but just don't use the metal tool to get the back of the watch of as the instructions state. This will severely scratch the back of your watch. With a little finesse you can use the pointy black plastic tool provided to pop it off safely as I did. Also, when you remove the back it will break the water seal as the instructions state, but you can use a very small bead of clear silicone or clear RTV 4500 sealant to create the seal again.

I had this battery on for less than 3 months now. It was good initially with three days of charge. A month later it was about two And a half days. Now two days if I am lucky. So the battery is loosing capacity at a rapid pace. Not sure how well it is going to hold up in three months. For 20 bucks it should have been a lot better in holding charge.

This was easy to install and the green screwdriver was much needed. I watched some YouTube videos on this before I did it myself. Highly encourage you to do the same.Update.... Battery died less than 2 months later. It won't charge anymore. Stay away.

I needed to replace the battery in my Samsung Gear S3 watch. When I got this kit, I was able to remove 3 of the screws, then the "Y" screw driver striped on me. I had to return the first kit and order another kit but I also ordered a electronic repair kit with much better tools. All in all, this is a good buy if the item your repairing is not old. I would recommend purchasing the battery only and also you should purchase a electronic repair kit as well (it will come in handy for other projects and it is a good purchase. I purchased "KeeKit Precision Screwdriver Set, 60 in 1 Magnetic Repair Tool Kit" and proceeded to replace the battery in my Samsung Gear S3. Worked out fine and now my watch is up and running after a year of down time.

If you are not getting 2 to 3 days charge out of your watch...DO THIS UPGRADE! I kept blaming Samsung, joining forums, sending Emails to Samsung, fussing at anyone who would listen, when in actuality - batteries go bad. That is exactly what happened here...I was only getting 3 hours out of a full charge, and for 8 months - I just "dealt with it". I bought 3 extra chargers so that I had one in my truck, one at my office, and 1 at home! I even started shopping for a replacement watch, when I decided to give this a try. For $20 and about 20 minutes - I fixed a problem that I had been dealing with for a long time. As everyone else says - watch the YouTube video's, read the directions, and then go for it! Everything you need is in the box, and it is not difficult at all. I went from 3 hours of life on a charge to 2 to 2.5 DAYS of life! Best $20 I have ever spent, and it saved me from throwing a $300 watch into the deep end of the pool!

Fit my Samsung classic gear 3 46mm perfectly!! I was devastated when my smartwatch started randomly shutting off, being near Christmas, i really didn't want to fork out the $$ for a new one. Installation is not nearly as easy as it looks on the videos, I strongly suggest taking it to someone who knows what they are doing. I am very fortunate my bf works in IT and was able to finish the installation for me. The scene where the guy says "just pop the motherboard out" does not account for the possibility that the entire interior works might pop out as well, one reviewer says he took his to Best Buy? If I ever have to replace the battery again, that is what I will do. But I am so happy with the results, 24 hours after a full charge, I am at 75 % !!
