This is the lazy man's pho soup base......that actually tastes good. I've been buying it for 20+ years, and nothing has changed about it. If you don't feel like spending a whole day/night making soup base, this is a good way to go.

I’ve been looking for a good Pho broth for a long time and this one is delicious!

I am so happy with this product. I use Pho for breakfast or any other meal and this flavor is delightful. I can taste the anise as a light overtone, which gives it a lift and adds to the complexity of the cube. The generosity of the cube size provides a full pan of soup.

I was really excited for this to come. Where I live there aren't any Vietnamese restaurants close and Pho is my absolute favorite soup. I read the reviews and decided to order. I will say the flavor is pleasant however it doesn't taste anything like the Pho I'm used to. There aren't any of the normal spices I expected like star anise, cinnamon, clove or even cardamom and there isn't a depth of flavor at all. I will begin my quest to find another Pho broth seasoning.

I make my soup from scratch and I like the flavoring of this particular brand. I didn't realize it was just a 4 pk soup base. Each pk has 4 cubes. The Asian Market who usually Carries it, ran out and one pk was 79 cents for each box. I thought you would get more for your money with this company. It turns out you pay $3 for 4 cubes in a box. Pretty expensive when the store Carrie's it is 79 cents for the same thing. It's been difficult to find this brand- when it comes in people buy it up.

Sinple way to make quick pho. I used this when cooking chicken pho in the instant pot. 4 cubes of seasoning, 2 chicken breast halves, one onion, ginger powder, fill water almost to the max line. Cook at high pressure for 15 mins NPR then enjoy.
