Great Bazaar Swad Green Cardamom, 14 Ounce

Very big cumin buds and great condition.

The people of Yemen put green cardamum in their coffee. I really like it myself. So, buy this and run it a long time in a coffee mill to grind it pretty fine. Add it to your coffee grounds in you coffee maker. It will make you think sweet thoughts of Midnight on the Oasis.

I have ordered seven of the 14 oz Great Bazaar Swad Green Cardamom over the past year. The last three orders have contained small amounts of tiny pebbles. Not exactly what I was expecting.

The cardamom pods were fresher than ones I’ve purchased in-store, the flavor is great. I have already used them in biryani, rice, steaming veggies and pressure cooking potatoes.

The Cardamom received are from Guatemala. It is well known that the Cardamom from India are preferred and the buying decisions are also made considering the origin of the product.Have not tried yet, though looks ok. Item does look pale green (the greener the product, the fresher it is).In recent times, due to Pandemic perhaps, many vendors wanting to make quick bucks, are resorting to unscrupulous actions. In just one month, we had three vendors send incorrect.low quality products (including this one). Going forward, I am more inclined to make a purchase from reputable sources.

I use this for flavor full Indian cooking.

We will never by cardamom locally as the last few times it was horrible. Price has gone up but we flavor our tea and certain meat dishes. Great!
