Wonderful!
I was a bit hesitant after reading other reviews but decided to try them anyway…absolutely delightful! Yes they arrived pretty squashed together but there was no problem pulling a piece out and they were delicious. Maybe they are stickier if delivered in warm weather, but I found them easy to separate and they were not at all sticky to eat. If you are super picky and want to have wasteful packaging of each individual piece go elsewhere. But if you don’t mind a little fun pulling a piece out, they are definitely worth it!!

Good stuff
Very similar to what I used to get in Hawaii in the 60's and 70's. Ono and addictive.

Waste of money
I get it - It's a sticky candy. So shouldn't the pieces be separates by wax paper or something similar to prevent them from STICKING together? It came in one big lump. All squished together like a loaf of bread. All the pieces stuck together and it was near impossible to separate. I manage to get a few pieces unstuck but both pieces had something hard and non- dissolvable in them. (I tried dissolving it in hot water, thinking it might be gelatin or hardened sugar, but it didn't lose it's shape) Do not recommend at all.Just to clarify - I'm giving this 1 star because it couldn't be separated into individual pieces and because of the hard pieces in the candy. It arrived on time and tasted like lightly sweet sesames. I've never had it before, so don't know what it's supposed to taste like, so I'm not reviewing the taste. I just want to make this clear.

tasty but upset stomach
This has a nice flavor, not too sweet. But it's easy to just munch away and when I ate too much I had an upset stomach.

Just like I remember from 1968
I used to get this candy at a Chinese Restaurant in Harvard Square Cambridge MA. Started eating dinner there in 1968 and it was served as a dessert, or you could buy a small white paper bag to take with you.I fondly remembered them for all these years.

Deceptive Ad
These candies were supposed to be individually wrapped but were not. Pkg came in with all candies stuck together, glued with summer heatHelen Ou needs to correct this problem

Yummy
So yummy. Not too sweet. The package will arrive with all the pieces in one big ball. Takes time to separate them. They are very sticky. Not for someone who has dental issues or diverticulitis.
