CNS Valve Cover, Valve Cover Gasket, & Spark Plug Seals Compatible with 2002-2006 Nissan Altima Sentra 2.5L QR25DE

Car needed the valve cover gasket replaced eventually, since there was soot accumulation around the area and oil was leaking into the spark plug wells. Since it was quarantine and I am mechanically inclined, took the time to learn how to do the job properly myself. Make sure you have the gasket maker required for the job, and properly torque/bolt the cover back on. No issues with part fitment/the threads for the ignition coils.

Fit just like OEM but a lot cheaper. Easy to install. Very well made. Saved a lot of money.

It was a perfect fit. Only time will tell if it was worth it. Construction wise, it looks good everything that needs to be sealed is.Quick note. Make sure you put some gasket maker ( high temp) on the corners by the belt about 2 inches up. That should give you a good deal. Oh also leave the gasket that came with in somewhere warm so it can flatten out

This worked for me. I had oil in my Spark Plug tubes #1 and #4. Doe snot need but a little gasket maker at the corners. Factory Repair manual suggest grey RTV up against the Timing/crancase cover and at the corners. Not a lot jsut enough to make installation easy. Be careful to line up the cover with all the holes before you begin the 2 stage tightening. I recommend paying attention to tube #4 to make sure you are lined up well. and then check tube 1...You should see the cover mate with the seals if lined up. I had to install mine 2x....

I will be adding pics soonSo one weekend, I removed the old valve cover, and was ready to put it on. I then noticed its noticed the gasket is not form fitting, nor does it align correctly on the left side. its OFF line where the left side bolt is. They do send you gasket maker, but I personally wouldn't have felt safe putting that gasket on and would worry something would go bad. I then read reviews and heard similar stories about the gasket. So its concerning that A, either the seller doesn't care, or B, there is absolutely zero quality control. I'll say I was more than frustrated to have the engine open, and not be able to install a fitting part. I should have read the reviews first.Anyways, I contacted the seller, sent pictures, and they offered a full refund, or that they would send a new gasket. I opted for the gasket since I needed the valve cover anyways. That part was fine. I ended up waiting for the gasket and couldn't put the old one back one since there was no gasket. So the car sit for about 2 or 3 days. But delivery on the new gasket was very fast.So this gasket was much better. It wasn't off line on the left side, but it didn't perfectly go into the channel on the left side like it should. Everything but the left side went in perfect. I had done my friends valve cover b4, and the Nissan OEM gasket fits like a glove. I went ahead and put gasket maker in a few spots, but along the entire left seam.The seller needs to make sure they're not sending out any more of these offline gaskets. Its a headache for the customer and a bad customer experience. Maybe just sell the valve covers by themselves. The nissan one is $15. I THINK I saw either this seller or another selling just the cover for a bit cheaper.
