This by far is the best choice for me out of several others.
I will say without this abdominal binder i wouldn't be sleeping good at all or getting through the day easily.I had several the Doctor gave me and this one seems to be best suited for me.I purchased the 12" 4 panel and it privides me with comfort.I am using this before abdominal surgey and after.I have no issues at all with the velcro detataching like my others.I also haven't had any issues with this rolling down and thats while wearing all day and night. Though sometimes i get annoyed wearing this under my shirts it sure out weighs the pain.I am going to order another to have as an extra for after my surgery. Idid order the small/ med and it fit perfectly .Update April 25th 2017 I purchased another in larger size after my recent abdominal surgery and due to swelling is the reason I needed a bigger one. This one is just as good as the first one I purchased which by the way has gotten alot of use and still holding up very well. These are way better than the one I was sent home with from the Hospital! Has helped make my recovery easier and makes for a better night sleep.

Perfect for my needs
I had a hysterectomy and partial hepatectomy at the same time, and this is wide enough to comfortably cover both incisions. It's smaller than stated though. I'm 5'8", 128 lbs and wear a size 0-2, and this is just right for me. There's no way it would fit a 45" waist.Update: Stretchy! I like that it's soft, but it lost it's shape fast. I had surgery 9 weeks ago but only wear my binder when I know I'll be standing more than sitting, which isn't very often. I used to Velcro it with an inch or two of overlap, but now it overlaps more than half my body. Maybe I'm less swollen and tender and pulling it tighter too.

Great but material tapers leaving velcro exposed
Great product, same thing my surgeon gave me but in a smaller size. Love the elastic and velcro as it is more easily adjusted. Only complaint is that the material tapers a but at the end where the velcro attaches, so the top and bottom tend to have a bit of velcro hanging off, which is scratchy against your skin. Sometimes I can stretch the material to be taller for it to fit, but doing that while wrapping it around yourself and getting it to stick is difficult with only 2 hands.

Not bad for the price. Inconsistent sizing.
I'm probably on the small end of the larger size. I've noticed there is considerable variation from one to the next as I bought several. The length might vary up to 3 inches from one to the next, which was surprising. The shortest one is fine and the longest one doesn't close enough to provide sufficient support for my needs. Further, it stretches out over a few days and then becomes too loose, so the overall lifespan is brief.

Poor quality, functions as required.
It serves its purpose. It doesn’t not hold up very well and starts to fall apart quickly. I purchased this binder on 7/10 for a abdominal surgery on 7/16, because my hospital grade binder is misplaced at the moment and figured this was the same thing. NO WAY!!! I wore it home then for the first week and off and on for then next 2 following weeks. I am on week 3 post op and have worn it for about 4-days straight. It looks like a dog chewed it up. I am not a big person. 5’6, 135lbs, waist 28in, hips 36 in, so the damage to the elastic is from poorly made product. It was not expensive (I don’t remember, but I think it was under $8). So I guess you get why you paid for. If you can get one from the hospital I recommend that. If you don’t care and need it for less than 2 weeks it serves its purpose. It does keep your abdomen binded well enough. And if your swelling and edema decrease and you want to tighten it past the soft panel, this is where the problem lies, if you Velcro on the elastic panel it falls apart. And they don’t make a smaller binder-30 inches is the smallest for this product. I am going to purchase another binder from another vender different design and hopefully find my hospital grade abdomen binder. It does bind and make you feel secure as described, for what it’s worth.

Everything you want in a full midriff post-surgical abdominal binder
Firm flexible confident support without the hassle. Why, confident? Because you need that after your abdomen has been sliced in half and sewn together. Prevents injury while healing. Breathes very well. No excess sweating. Very high quality construction.• Is it comfortable? About as comfortable as a flu shot.• Attractive, or stylish? Absolutely, not.• Forget you’re wearing it? Over time, perhaps. This IS a medical device. No itching, scratching, grabbing, or latex. Stays in place with minimal fold over. You want some, or you feel like you’re stuffed into a tube. Easily adjustable WHILE wearing. Does NOT stick to your skin. Be sure to put it on right so the wider part of your waist is on the wider curve of the binder. The V-shaped center section should be wider at the bottom - for that hour glass figure of yours - not at the top. Simply, the best full midriff post-surgical abdominal binder on the market.

Just bought my 4th one
If you're stuck wearing one, this one works well. I have to wear one for 3 months, following abdominal fat grafting for a breast cancer surgery. These do stretch out and become less effective with use. And the velcro starts to pull up a bit. I rotate the 3 I have already to try to keep them in shape for longer. I had to buy lipo foam pads to put between the binder and a shirt I wear under the binder, due to chaffing and binder buckling and folding due to 24/7 use. I highly recommend adding lipo foam if you're stuck wearing one of these for months. This binder is the one from the hospital, yes, but is much more comfortable than some other random ones I bought from Amazon. Make sure you measure before buying. I measure at 30" so this size is the perfect fit for me. I just bought my 4th because 2 of my 3 are getting pretty rough.

Too large and no return policy
I wish I had noticed that I couldn’t return this item, it’s much too large and despite its “one size fits all” proportions, it’s way too big for me. I have a small torso and too petite for this to fit comfortably
