I have an older phone system and the batteries finally just would not recharge anymore but this took care of the problem. This save me from going out and buying new phones so it's a great value. I saw some bad reviews that these batteries arrived DOA for others. Well, when I put them into the phone the display did not light up or show any characters. When the phone was set into the charging stand the display read "Insert Batteries". At that point I was wishing I had paid attention to the 1 star reviews. The battery voltage measured 1.2 volts (nominal voltage) so I could not understand why the phone wouldn't recognize the cells. But wait! On close inspection, the clear plastic jacket that covers the battery extends past the negative end and is slightly shrunk around the bottom end of the cell. It was preventing the negative terminal from contacting the phone terminal. I trimmed the clear plastic jacket back 1/16th inch from the end of the cell bottom and now the batteries make contact in the phone and also with my charger/conditioner (where they did not connect before). Once trimmed, the batteries look the same as the OEM cells they are replacing. I dinged them a star for the aggravation.

What more can I say except that this battery works in my Panasonic phones and it seems to retain a charge well.

I bought these because they were the exact replacement for my cordless phones. Every one was dead and would not charge. I tried different combinations of batteries in all 3 phones and none of the would charge. I got a couple of everready rechargeable from the supermarket popped them in and they worked perfect. Have no idea what was wrong with these but they were junk. I returned them.

2 of these were dead on arrival. 4 of them seem to be working ok.Only time will tell how long they will last. I don't have much confidence in them.
