Punky Temporary Hair Highlight Spray, Beach Blonde, 3.5 oz, 2-Pack

I'd been searching for a yellow/blond temp hair product for a bunch of Barbie-themed events and this product absolutely delivered. My hair is medium brown and many of my friends thought I'd actually dyed my hair blond.Be careful when applying, the product dries easily and does wash out, but upon application it can be very wet and will get your hands glittery and gold. Admittedly, my hair is short (I'm a guy), so I can't speak to how easy it is to work into longer hair, but for shorter hair it definitely worked very well!

There is no color to this product, it’s just straight spray glitter. It gets on literally everything, smells so bad like old lady rancid perfume, and is so sticky. Bummed that there is no color to it!

Instead of blonde it was a shimmery gold and didn’t look nice. It comes out after a wash so that’s good.

A lot of reviews complain that the beach blonde is actually gold and gets everywhere. This is true, but the gold actually works pretty well on very dark colored hair if you’re not using it for everyday cover-up. I used it on just the top layer of my hair to lighten it a little for a costume and liked the look. It is very shimmery, but I didn’t mind because, again, costume.I really appreciated all of the reviews saying how messy it was and found it was easy to mitigate with some planning. I used one of those caps that people use to pull strands of hair through for highlighting. I cut a big hole at the top and pulled the top half of my hair through. Then I sprayed my hair outdoors so it didn’t get in my house. I also applied regular hairspray afterward to lock it in, because the gold shimmer tends to shake out and get on your hands when you touch it. After that, I didn't really notice it getting anywhere!

This shade is definitely more gold. Very fun and pretty, washed out easy. Guard everything in your path though, because it transfers

My hair is thinning in front and a mix of dark brown and silver. Brown covers the scalp and a bunch of hair with a big dark circle. Tried the blonde, same spot appears, only in gold with scalp showing through. This just isn’t the right product for me.

They no longer have at local stores anymore and found it in Amazon. Super excited! My husband and kids used it for years. It's lasting and it's great product. Only cons it leaves glittery gold everywhere. But other then that great product!
