I am a good shot, but this little powerhouse embedded those pellets ...
This little weapon packs a hell of a punch. After getting used to the kick and sending about a hundred pellets downrange, I decided it was broke in enough to shoot at some targets. Set em up at 10 feet and got all eight in the 10 zone. Unbelievable. I am a good shot, but this little powerhouse embedded those pellets about an inch into the cardboard backboard. No ricochet. Set another target and backed up to 20 feet. Another eight in the 10 zone, but a bigger spread. Not much drop off, but this is a new CO2 for the target run. Still sank about 3/4 inch in the backboard. This Umarex is expensive, but worth it. The drop out clip to hold the 12oz CO2 is convenient. I will be buying a couple more to have ready spares in the field. The two eight round magazines that came with it operated flawlessly for me, and I will be buying a BUNCH more of those to have preloaded in a pouch with the extra magazines.Highly recommend this product. I well worth the extra money to get the single and double action model. The single action shots were very accurate to the target.

Even for small hands
With eyes open: I worried that theCP99 might be too large for my small hands. I can handle it. The trigger takes a lot of pressure; my weak hands are up to that. I worry that the noise might cause neighbors to think I am play with a firearm and call the police. They haven't. I have never hunted, and the thought of shooting a person or an animal is abhorrent to me. The pellet pistol can be used to frighten inttruders. I've heard people reccomend an air rifle; that will not work inside a house. It must be a pistol. Now, i haven't fired a rifle since the army, 1964, never a pistol. On its arrival, I loaded the CP99 and printed out a target and went to the back yard. Standing, and without braces, I fired 8 shots; I put 2 in the bullseye at ten yards. Only one went outside the outer circle, and my 84-year-old hands shake. the CP99 is accurate, and its weight helps to stabilize my hands. would I recommend the PC99 for self protection for the elderly? Yes. They should just take the time to learn to shoot the thing.

Watch your small parts
Took it out shooting briefly, functions fine. When I got it back home I decided to try swapping the backstraps that are included. Boy was that a mistake.Upon taking the backstrap off, I noticed there's a part that pushes down on the magazine and a spring (part number 412.20.30.1) that pushes down on it to create the tension that pushes your magazine out. Those were under enough tension that they popped out on their own upon removal of said backstrap. Little did I know the fun was just getting started.I did the only logical thing and tried to figure out how it went back together to get the backstrap back on. When I finally got it all back together, the spring snapped out, hit two walls and that sucker was GONE. I spent about half an hour looking for the spring in the carpet of a couple different rooms, then spent about another thinking I was smart trying to take apart click pens to see if any of those had the right size spring. If that happens to you don't waste your time. Even if you find a spring that fits it won't have enough spring tension to do anything meaningful as far as that mechanism for pushing out the magazine goes.So I guess my only course of action now is to contact Umarex with the part number and see how bad they're going to price gouge me for a teeny tiny spring that costs all of 1 cent to make.TL;DR: Gun came with a replacement backstrap when it should have come with a replacement for the flighty spring behind it instead.

Best of all pistols!
Out of the four pellet and BB air pistols, this is the best. The best feel; the best look; the best quality; and a really cool round loading cartridge. Comes with a case that you’d think an actual pistol 🔫 would come in…if you bought a 9mm or similar gun. I highly recommend this air pistol.

After a month utilization I like it overall but I found a few cons
After a month utilization I like it overall but I found a few cons:Accuracy is better than what I expected. Only the sight is shifted an inch to the right at 20 feet distance and it cannot be adjusted (update: the rear sight is adjustable). The laser can partly solve the problem (not easy to fine set though).CO2 consumption is worse than expected - about 50 pellet autonomy before having a sensible loss of pressure.Trigger is pretty hard without cocking the gun and the gas cartridge mechanism is not the most precise.Anyway I recommend this gun - Nice pistol and good fun to shot with.

Not categorized as a firearm
I liked the fact that it is made completely out of metal. No plastic parts! The weight is well balanced. The handgrip comes with a second piece you are easily able to change. Each fits the hand comfortably depending on the size of your hand and the piece that fits more comfortably in your hand. Just an all around great reproduction of the original firearm.
