Dress beautiful and well made. Cloth soft and not flimsy. Fits as expected. Side slits run a bit on the high side--I think it should cut off about a foot from the bottom of the dress; the slits are about 2 feet on the sides but I tend to be on the conservative side. Overall, love the dress!

I bought for a Lunar New Year party. It was very pretty and I received many compliments. The sizes are VERY small, especially in the bust and hips. I am 5'2" and 135 lbs and first bought a 1XLarge. It was too tight in bust and hips. I returned it and instead got a 2XLarge and it fit perfect. The one thing I didnt like was that the side slit went all the way to my upper thigh. I ended up wearing footed non transparent leggings under the dress for a little more modesty.

I bought this for my wedding. The material and construction is better than I thought it would be. It's thick with well-sewn seams. I am 5'1 and it hits above the ankle. I usually wear a size 2 but sized up to a 4 based on reviews. The 4 is actually too big, so I will return it and buy the size 2.

On the outside, dress is great! I bought it for my tea ceremony so I would be doing a lot of kneeling that day. With the side slits and the kneeling, you’re able to see the inside of the dress and it’s just not pretty at all. I understand that’s how the dress is embroidered but adding a black or red layer on top would be great because in pictures, it looks weird. Really wanted to love it and for the price, it’s awesome!

The dress was beautiful. I was excited to wear it. It was not tight on me at all but as I was moving, the seam ripped. The quality was very poor. I'm sad and it was embarrassing to try and hold the side of it closed all evening. I hoped to come back and return it but I missed the return/replacement window by 1 day.

I wear a large/xl mostly and the 4x fit great. I steamed the dress myself to remove wrinkles and it turned out perfect. Always size up on these dresses since they are tight fitting with no stretch. Easily saved $100 ordering from this company. Everyone at my Chinese reception thought the dress was tailored to me.

The material is beautiful and it fit as expected. The measurements were pretty spot on, I'm a "pear" according to measurements of hips, waist, and bust, so the fact that you can only order by Small, Medium, or Large makes it tough for something that needs to fit just right to actually fit "just right." However, the measurement guide makes it clear that there aren't exact fit options, so I was aware prior to purchase that I needed to buy a Medium if I wanted it to fit around my hips. It did mean that the bust would be too big, which it was, so I had a friend take in the darts near the bust.Despite the limited sizing options (which is made very clear prior to buying), the dress seems to have nice sewed seams, the fabric is good quality for not being traditional silk, and the buttons are beautiful and sewn on well and align well with the holes.It definitely seemed to be the best cheongsam buy on Amazon that offered shipping from within the U.S.
