Smead File Folder, Reinforced Straight-Cut Tab, Letter Size, Kraft, 100 Per Box (10710)

These are nice colorful folders. I like the reinforced straight tab across the top. However, they are not quite as heavy as I hoped they would be. I wanted something more like the Smead No. 10401, which is quite a bit thicker than this one. However, I do like certain qualities of this folder: I like the straight tab a lot as it looks so much neater than having all those tabs sticking up. I use the clear labels for marking the folders. It looks so much better. I like the colors of these folders and had a hard time deciding on which ones to get. Although they are not quite as thick and heavy, they seem well made and substantial to hold larger contents. I would recommend them if you do not need a folder that is very thick and tough.

nice, solid and good quality folders

We use the Smead viewables to categorize each section (Banking, Corporate, Insurance, Etc.). We put the catagories on the left. Then we place our labels on these Straight-Cut Tab Files starting a a space over (In the middle) next to the Viewables Tab. This gives us room to add additional labels and a color system to the remaining Tab for each file under that category. They are sturdy

In my opinion, Smead Reinforced Straight-Cut file folders are the best folders to have for any professional office setting or at home. They are strong and sturdy and seem to enhance the filing environment rather than detract from it with the brown color versus the manila colored folder. Also, labels can be placed anywhere along the straight cut, so you are not dependent on a left, center or right tab or end up with more of one or two than the other, which is a waste of money. I definitely recommend these folders.

These are excellent file folders. The single tab is reinforced, and therefore they are stronger and easier to label. The colors are helpful in differentiating between files.

These Smead file folders are sturdier than the flimsy manila file folders that curve and sink downward in file drawers. Straight cut works for us as we put several labels on them, borrowing the concept from the US Army Functional File System. Great value

I was looking for a tabless folder and these fit the bill perfectly. Good quality and thickness, not cheaply made or too thin so they are flimsy and won't stand if used in a file cabinet to separate documents in a hanging folder. Also good for protecting against wrinkled or dog eared papers when carrying from place to place. I am very satisfied with purchase.
