The return was quick and easy. Surprisingly
I ordered this product from OMOTON a month ago, but it took a long time to arrive. After inquiring the seller, I was told the they won't have it in stock until Oct. 1. I began to lost patience after waiting, so I don't want it anymore. The return was quick and easy. Surprisingly, the order arrived a couple of days later. After snapping it on, I was amazed to see how sharp and clear the screen is. Compared with viewing the iPad with a plastic cover on, it feels like cataract being cured. I would say the product is really good. As advertised, it is easy to to install, nice and neat, no more bubbles. I particularly like their customer service - prompt, polite, and considerate. Except for the delay caused by restocking, everything turned out perfect. Recommend it and will buy from OMOTON again.

It’s cheap and difficult instructions on how to use it properly.
Basically it broke the first day I got it. I don’t even want another one at this point

Great product. Fit iPad mini 4 perfectly
Great product. Fit iPad mini 4 perfectly, provides protection against scratches and nicks and is totally transparent so that you don't even notice that it's there. This product gives me similar protection to the high end cases at about 1/3 the cost. I bought the glass screen for my iPhone and iPad mini and they both work very well.My only caution is to be careful to make sure your tablet screen is totally free from dust before you apply this protector. I wasn't careful enough on my first try and I ended up with 2 relatively large bubbles under the protector. When I tried the 2nd time, the dust accidently got stick to the sticky part of the screen so when I reapply, I still ended up with the same large bubbles. Fortunately I contacted OMOTON asking for a replacement. When I told them about my experience they offered to send me a new screen protector at no charge. I followed the install instructions to the letter being extra careful about eliminating dust and got the good results I describe above. So, both the product and OMOTON customer service deserve 5 stars in my book.

Works great but the instructions are not Translated well for English markets, Resolved in review,
The product is decent and the company that is selling it here as a rebrand with custom interface is clearly trying to make this usable but the product is apparently designed for the Chinese market and cell phones(Software links not accessible in the US) and some features don't work well out of the box and take a few work arounds to get things going. Those work arounds have sort of been lost in the translation of the instructions. Good news is it's not to difficult to go over the software and files to figure out what's going on.With a few extra steps you can end up with any small file size (SD card max size) .mp4 video playing on the fan. The videos need to be 4:3 Aspect ratio in 720p but you can open any .mp4 in windows video editor and change the resolution and finish as 720p. (*A word to Mac users, My research tells me Mac users are out of luck, I don't have one to test on so let me know if there is a work around. If you can run a .exe in an emulator you should be fine since all the app does is convert the .mp4 into the cycle matched .bin file that the fan reads. You can open one of the sample .bin files on the SD card in a video converter similar to VLC and get the format standard that way as well.)To help out I went ahead and kept my personal tech notes that I put together while getting it to work and I'll post them below, I can't verify their complete accuracy but these are the steps I was able to take and repeat several times to get new videos onto my fan.3d Fan Simplified Chinese to US English Modified/Regionalized instructions1. select an MP4 file, all black backgrounds look best.2. Open the file in a video editor (I used windows 10 photos) and configure and finish the video with the following settings:a. 720pb. 4:3 aspect ratioc. 10-20 seconds long3. Insert the SD card from the fan into the card reader that came with it put it and into your computers USB.4. COPY(Don't Move or erase) the SD card to your computer5. Open 3Ds-Player V1.4 File location on your computer6. Double click 3ds-PlayerV1_4(or other version number depending on model)7. In the upper right hand section there is a drop down menu.Select the fan model you have. When I ordered this one I had to use SD-224 (the documentation may not have the correct version)8. Then select File Encode and it will bring up a Select file box9. Select the video file that you have prepared, After selecting the video it will pop up with another selection screen, this is the output file name for the final bin file you will need to copy to the SD card on the fan.You will want to remember where you save it and give it a name like 1.fanvideo (The final file format is (#)(Name)(type) = #-is the order number it will play on the fan; NAME - Video file name; TYPE - bin9. The screen will come up with your video in a preview box, Use the red circle to select your size.a. There is no OK or click to select option, once you get the ring where you want it look back to the main screen and click on Start Encoding10.Once the encoding is complete Close 3ds-player11.Open File explorer in windows and find the 1.fanvideo.bin file you created12.Copy your 1.fanvideo.bin file to the SD card root directory.13.Open the SD card location in file explorer14.In the file location you will see a list of .bin files starting with a number like your 1.fanvideo.bin file15.If the file you created has a leading number (#) that matches one on your card, change the number to the next one in the sequence:ie: 1.SD-224-720p-Panel.bin2.HD-650-720P-Globe.bin3.caomei.bin1.HD-650-DirectMp4.binChange to: 1.SD-224-720p-Panel.bin2.HD-650-720P-Globe.bin3.caomei.bin4.HD-650-DirectMp4.binEject and remove the SD card from your computer and put it into your fan.At that point the video should work in the display fan. - If the image looks like a bunch of garbage lines and out of synch, Try the same process with each differentmodel type until you get the right one.All in all it does what it says it does, They could have used a Tech Doc translator but hey these things happen and I don't think the United States was the key demographic for this version since it is a lower end price point to this market for an established product in other markets.Hope this helps make this easier to use for anyone using it in an English market!

Only for Windows
The item works since I was able to test with supplied SD card. However if you're like me and don't have a computer running Windows only a Mac then you can't open the software. You can download the app no problem but in order to add your own images you need the software. Item only takes bin files and the converting software supplied is only for Windows. Requesting a refund and looking for one that will work with common file types not just bin.

I installed it on my IPAD mini 4 and like it but it still has bubbles
I installed it on my IPAD mini 4 and like it but it still has bubbles. You can only see them when the screen is black. It does not affect the IPAD when on. It is thick and works well. I would buy this again even with the bubbles!

Clear glass screen - use some force to get all air bubbles out
This was quite easy to install when following the directions. I cleaned off my iPad mini 4 screen using the supplied wet & dry screen cleaners to clean off grease prints, then lined up the glass & taped down one side. I used the sticky dust collector on the screen to clean it really well one more time, then peeled the backing off the glass and slowly laid the glass down on the screen using the taped hinge to line it back up correctly. This process really helped me get the little cut outs lined up perfectly! I did have two large and two small air pockets but was able to use the tiny card to "squeegee" the air bubbles out from under the glass. One air bubble took some extra force and patience, but I found that if I used the broad side of the tiny card and put LOTS of pressure down, I could slowly move the bubble to the edge and remove it all together. I think I could have used a credit card edge to move the bubbles along faster. Overall, I am very satisfied with the product so far!
