Lovely fan. But not super bright lighting. Thats the price you pay for beauty. It sure looks good.

I went into this prepared for aggravation because so many of the reviews stated that this was difficult to install. It ended up being one of the easier light fixture installs I’ve done. The wiring is straight forward and everything goes together pretty simply. Turns out that when you buy an 1885 fixer upper, the living room fan isn’t as high on the priority list as you thought it would be, so this baby has been sitting in my spare room for two weeks short of a year and I’m SO excited to finally have it up! The bulbs are a very warm light and not terribly bright, so if you like a cooler, brighter bulb I’d definitely unpack the bulbs and find the right size cool/daylight ones BEFORE you install it as the bulbs go in pre-install. The booklet says they’re easy to change, but there’s nothing easy about taking apart something hanging on the ceiling, ever. Just something to keep in mind.

I almost never write a review, but this is of high enough quality that I felt compelled to do so, especially after reading the reviews before I bought it I wasn't certain if I'd be getting what I wanted and I was very pleasantly pleased.Here's the good and the bad.The Good-1) excellent packaging2) extra screws always a plus3) put together really really well, as an engineer, you can tell someone thought about things when it was designed, seems to be rare these days.4) little labels right where you need them so if your scratching your head saying what did they mean on the instruction sheet, there's a little label pointing it out on the actual fan.5) Flush or pole mounted.The bad1) So they could've used some bigger pictures on their instruction sheet to see how some parts are going together.2) would be nice for a little more wattage rating on the electric. In these days of LED lights, if this would've been made for incandescent lights it would take an extremely bright LED, but in this case it's only rated for the what bulbs they supplied, my gut looking at the wiring says it could easily be rated for more but isn't. It would be nice to be able to add a brighter bulb if desired.

We recently purchased this ceiling fan to replace a very old fan we had in a guest bedroom. The fan looks great and we really like the colors and overall appearance. We did have two major issues. We purchased the version that has two sets of lights. The upper lights have to be installed during installation. Unfortunately, two of the LED bulbs arrived damaged. These are not common bulbs in our area (San Diego) so finding replacements was challenging. We managed to find a suitable alternative but also noticed that one of the bolts holding the upper light together was quite bent. I’m not sure if this was a returned/used fan or if the quality control is that poor. Overall, we are fine with the look, just out the money to replace the bulbs. Debating whether to get an additional fan for the living room. I would like to but I have concerns over the quality issues we encountered.From an installation perspective, it’s pretty straightforward. The manual is of limited help and the language is a bit rough as the translation failed miserably in certain sections. I have attached a few photos for reference.

This is a really nice looking fan. As others have said the blades move air well, but it’s comparable with the fan that was replaced. Some have complained about the difficulty installing this. It’s not difficult at all, in fact if you have ever installed a ceiling fan before this shouldn’t cause you any issues. I had mine completely installed in about an hour. Just make sure to install the lights in the top portion prior to mounting it, otherwise i could see that being a complete pain. I’m not sure how I’ll easily replace the bulbs if they go out, but they are LED so it’s conceivable I may never have to. The only thing that threw me for a loop was that it comes with a cable to secure the fan to a ceiling joist (required in Canada). Although the directions recommended using it I chose not to and just cut it. I do recommend having some wire cutters and strippers handy as the wires are very long, I didn’t use the down rods at all so I had to cut quite a bit from the wires. I did have an issue where one of the wooden knobs on the pull chord broke when I pulled it the first time (it happens). I contacted the seller and they gladly shipped me replacements, so I can at least say they are responsive. I will be buying more of these to replace the other ceiling fans in my house.

It is gorgeous however the top that is the nightlight part of the stained glass that lights up..the bulbs cannot ever be changed unless you hire an electrician to take it down from the ceiling and drop it in order to access the bulbs, that is a very bad feature that should be corrected somehow, we are older and the cost to do that is prohibitive and we cannot do it ourselves, the hope is that being LED bulbs they will outlast us. The main stained glass light beneath the fan blades is gorgeous however it does not give off much light, the beauty of it however makes no difference to us. We love it! I would not think of returning it and the prettiest ceiling fan I have seen.

We bought a home almost a year ago and it didn't have a ceiling fan in the master bedroom, yet all the other bedrooms DID have them. We thought this was so odd. I love having a soft breeze going when I'm sleeping so I wanted a fan in the room. When I saw this fan I fell in love...so pretty! But I worried it would be pretty online but not so great in person. I was wrong. It's absolutely gorgeous! So not only do I have a nice breeze and light when I need it, but it's suuuuper pretty to look up at while I'm laying in bed.
