I live in New Mexico and frequently dealt with Pharaoh Ants at all times of year, even when most stores stop selling ant poison, not that it'd make a difference since most of the poison options they sell suck anyways.What stores have available is:-The dry baits that come in plastic housing the ants are supposed to go inside: I've never once seen an ant go inside one of these, they just ignore them.-Stuff you can spray on to kill the ants directly: Great for killing one ant, a task that can already be accomplished for free by just pouring some soapy water on it. Completely useless for stopping them from coming back-Liquid bait stations that the ants are supposed to go inside: Again the ants simply do not go inside, you can pour it out and it will get some of them but there's not very much per station.-Toxic heavy chemical barrier sprays: Great for outdoors use but cannot be used insideNone of the products sold in stores were good. I did some research online and Advion came recommended. I used it and works great against pharaoh ants. You put down some splotches of bait, they swarm around it for a day or two, then they're all gone. The only problem I've noticed is that it will dry out after some time and, if used in carpets, it will leave a crusty deposit behind.

It's good the have the extra tubes since one was nowhere near enough for my problem. A Hot Glue Gun makes dispensing easy and it seemed to work on the roaches as well.

This product worked amazingly well and fast! We live in an apartment complex. Every year from beginning of summer thru fall, we are invaded by those small little ants. They are everywhere—kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living room—-EVERYWHERE!! It was driving me to insanity! I found this product recently and thought I would try it. It works sooooooo wellllll!!!! We tracked down where we thought were the spots where the ants were coming in and put some of the gel there. Within a day, there were no more ants in the kitchen. The rest of the place had a seriously significant less ants. For two days, there were less and less ants. However, right after that, there was a sudden surge of what appeared to be a younger and smaller generation of the ants with a few of the regular size—apparently the gel killed off almost all of the adult ants and now a bunch of the younger ones were released to go food hunting. They were coming up from under the tub’s rubber seal, marching all around our bedroom baseboard and out into the living room and disappearing under the couch across the room! So I put a bunch more of the gel into their path in multiple places. I noticed that, if the ants don’t see me put down the gel, they will swarm the gel. They don’t always seem to trust it if they see me put it right in front of it and might try to go around it. However, 99% swarmed it and you could see them all over the gel I put out. We left for the day and, by the time we came back that night, there was no ant (dead or alive) to be found. That was 2 days ago and we still haven’t had a single ant come in. We caulked the tub last night so here’s hoping our problem is solved for the season! I do want to give you a head’s up tho: the gel will harden in place after a while so only use the amount you need right then for the amount of your ant trail. It doesn’t do you any good to just put out for like a preventive measure like you would those plastic bait things (which don’t work anyways). If you have an infestation of these tiny household ants, I highly recommend you get this product right away. We here still can’t believe how well and fast it worked!!

This stuff really works. It came with 4 tubes, and I ended up using only half of one and now the ants have disappeared!After reading other people’s reviews about how it would take a while for the poison to work, I was skeptical but decided to purchase it anyways.It took about 2-3 days to get rid of all the ants. Buy it.
