perfect!
i almost didn't buy this brace because of its price, but i'm so glad I did. it really helps my chronic back pain and corrects my bad posture. it provides great support while standing or sitting, but after 5 or 6 hours, it starts to feel uncomfortable and the straps start cutting into my underarms. I was surprised how quickly it got dirty, but it washed well by hand.it took a bit of adjusting to get a proper fit; I threaded the straps through the uppermost slot at the back and have to pull them tight so that my back is straight. that means you don't have much maneuverability with your arms though. also, there's 2 flexible metal bars running up the back of the brace and they're the key for support. they sometimes slip down a little, but you can push them back up. it really feels like a substantial brace and is very well made. all in all, i'm delighted with my purchase and feel that my muscles will learn to straighten up in time.

I would recommend this product (and I'm reeeeallly tough to please)
I've been wearing it for short periods of time for 2 days now.Pros: really good back support (felt like instant relief for my lower back issues); does help me sit straighter; not too uncomfortable for shorter periods of time (30 min - 90 min)Cons: tricky to get on (lots of velcro and ties, like a straightjacket sans sleeves); no bending over, must bend with your legs.Overall: I'd recommend it as a good trainer to help you get your posture in shape.

For my scoliosis
I bought this for my scoliosis so it won't get too much worse as I get older, and I'm very pleased with it so far. I got it sooner than I thought (which is always nice) and it actually helps my posture to the point where I notice it! I used to have a brace that was actually incorrect for my back (which was one that only works for keeping the shoulders back, but does not help with lower to mid back), and it had very scratchy shoulder straps that hurt my under-arms. This brace comes with foam padded arm straps, and the foam can slide up and down the straps so that I can get padding in the right places (though I have to say the straps might chafe your under-arms still slightly if you're wearing a sleeveless shirt/tank top underneath it). A word of caution though: know your measurements when buying this because due to sanitary reasons it is non-refundable once taken out of the package. You don't really need the buddy system to get this on (I've been able to do it all by myself every time) but the criss-cross straps in the back will slip out of the small loops that keep them in place (you can see those two loops in the picture provided)...so if you sit down and let the bottom of the brace rest on the surface you're sitting on then the straps will be less likely to slip out while you're putting it on. In other words, it's much like putting on a snug backpack with loose straps that may slip out of their rungs before you can strap it! I've had this brace for about three days now and I can tell the improvement in my posture from only wearing the brace while I'm at home and taking it off when I go out! As for its bulkiness...it's not very bulky at all but the straps may be noticeable under slim-fitting clothes, which is why I only wear it at home. Almost didn't buy this brace because of the price, but if you're back is hurting and are tired of spending $30 on cheap braces or suffering with pain that could be lessened then get this because I personally don't regret a dollar I spent on this!

and I highly recommend it!
Really helps take tension off my spastic rhomboid by bringing my shoulders back and down into proper posture. It also helps with my overall posture and muscle memory of correct posture. I've been using this brace for a few months now, and I highly recommend it!

Poor quality material & unproportioned fitting
The higher price of this product is really not woth buying , because it is made of a poor quality material, Also it does not proportionly fit. I have been using it because of the money that I paid for it, Whiled wearing it, I have to adjust it from time to time. I just hope that you have a policy that if the product did not satisfy your, that you can get your money back. If I will not use it, then I will not experience how it works & so as the quality of the material ( how is the wear & tear.)

Well pleased!
Love this. My only complaint is that it rides up, my hips are large and when I sit down it is forced up. Might be better in a shorter style though. I am 5'3. I have a metal and plastic brace that is uncomfortable to wear, so I wear this on a daily basis. Very comfortable. Overall well pleased. I wear a w22 and bought an XL. Might have even gotten by with a smaller size, but I tend to always go big when I order online. It has helped my back immensely. I have already recommended it to a pain group I am in on FB.
