Good gloves if you're accident prone when using a knife
I was quite accident prone in the kitchen when using knives, so I decided to purchase these gloves. They did the job - I did not cut my hand when these were on. For that reason, I recommend them for that purpose.

Protect your hands from pesky oysters.
Ideal for providing protection when shucking oysters particularly if the oysters have shap edges. Machine washable, clearly they don'tprovide the same level of protection as steel gloves but for the money very good value and would recommend.

Save your fingers - buy these gloves!
I like to grate things. Coleslaw, onions, carrots, you name it. But I hate grating my finger tips. These gloves are just the ticket. Not too stiff that you cannot move in them, but protective enough to make sure that your grated cheese doesn't end up with a few fingers nails in it. Great for cutting too. I wouldn't say they will save you from a chain saw or a bone chopping machete, but for carving and slicing? Your fingers are safe. I tend to use just one, for me it's fine to hold the grater in the non gloved hand, but you definitely want the glove on the hand which is close to those blades! Highly recommended. Snug fitting
Gloves arrived very quickly. I ordered Large as per sizing recommendation but gloves seem very snug fitting. There appears to be no identification marking to say they are large so cannot say if a medium was posted out in error? or if these are just small sizes. They also appear to quite slippy when holding items, don't know if its just because they are new and they may soften with use and become less slippy.I may look at putting some silicone sealant on the palms to get better grip.I have not used them yet so cannot vouch for effectiveness but they appear to be well made.

Feel a lot safer now
I used these for the first time, shucking oysters. No more cutting my fingers to ribbons, nor the agony of squeezing lemons afterwards. Also could work a lot faster as I could hold the oysters tighter.Went through the wash straight after, as they get a bit dirty/smelly.Very pleased.

Good value
Well after the 1st use of my gloves and the second use of my mandolin i still have all of my fingers in one piece. Which wasnβt the case with my 1st attempt with the mandolin so they deffo work ππππ
