Great little case, well made, great color. My initial impressions of overall quality are high for a $10 case.Flawless finish on the aluminum panels, generous padding, tight elastic straps inside, and evenly sewn zippers and cloth pieces with no errant threads or edges. There is enough depth in the case to hold 2-2.5" portable drives, albeit tightly. I wouldn't carry 2 hdds in the case on a daily basis but it's nice to know that I can when I travel. With the tight elastic bands that hold the hdd in place it would take quite a bit of force to jar a drive loose: mainly dropping from waist height, or dropping a backpack with the case inside from a few feet; but otherwise I feel that the case would protect the hdd very well.Hopefully the case will hold up over time and I don't have to find out how much force it can withstand. I will update if any build issues/design flaws present themselves with use.If you like the hard aluminum sides, colors offered and a slightly thicker case than most 2.5" drives buy one, it's a great deal.

My Kayond case is wonderful! I wanted something strong And beautiful to protect my Wonder Bible audio device. After looking extensively for the right combo ..and price $ this one won the prize! Also I was concerned about the accuracy of the color. The ad showed a beautiful Rosy red but when I posted the question they said it was a Tomato red..Not so! It is definitely a Rosy red just like the image in the ad. arrived swiftly and in Perfect condition. Fit the case perfectly of course since I measured carefully before hand. Has a nice nifty wrist band too. Now I can walk to the park..my kitchen...bedside or anywhere and listen to the holy scriptures without worrying about the safety of my Wonder Bible audio device. I love this storage case. It expands for more storage to be added with the cable wires for your hard drive storage devices. It looks nice the color and it protects what is inside. If it falls the contents inside will be okay, it's thick. I do not use it for traveling but if I did I am sure it will be okay. I would carry it on a carry on bag not in the suit case. I highly recommend it. I would by again if needed.

I got this for use with my 4TB WD drive. The drive is a bit shorter than old externals and a lot thicker, so it just barely fits within the elastic straps. The case feels very solid and well made and I feel like I don't need to worry when my drive is in the case. It's well padded and roomy and I like having the storage area for my cable and a few flash drives.The case itself tends to scratch easy and I have not been hard on that thing at all. 95% of the time it is stored in my a compartment in my backpack with nothing to really rub and scratch it... so I am not sure where the scratches have come from. Honestly though, that's all cosmetic and does not detract from the sole purpose of the case which was to protect my drive. The blue is a bit darker than what is pictured.

I bought this to store my WD Passport external HDD and cable; it’s very sturdy and the exterior is an anodized aluminum as opposed to plastic or eva foam. Really nice, i’ll definitely be grabbing a few more of these to store other small electronics as needed; wish they made a version to hold two external HDDs.

I definitely recommend this for a DS lite, new 3DS, or smaller models, but NOT for any XL DS Models. I’m able to zip mine fully with only a mere squeeze where the charm is.

I have had great results with these cases for holding my portable HDD's. Solid protective case with nice interior features. Mesh pouch for the cables and elastic straps to hold the drive securely against the well padded interior liner. Honestly, this case should outlast your hard drives if you don't overstuff it and stress the zipper or stitching.P.S. I ordered the black cases and they are a visually perfect match for the WD Black gaming drives.
