great quality and awesome holding power
I purchased this to hold my homemade custom fireplace mesh doors closed. The first one I tried was Neodymium and lost it's magnetism after one fire...my fault..didn't know that could happen. After some research I found that the Sm Cobalt magnets could hold up the the high heat much better. Well....I'm pleased to say that after my first fire with this in place, it's help up just fine and didn't seem to lose any power!!

Strong magnet
Pretty strong magnet (not as strong as neodymium). Corrosion resistant (so unlike sensitive neodymium magnet, no coating on it). SmCo is much more heat resistant than neodymium (though I probably won't use it at high temperature). Remember to ware safety glasses when operating them.
