Her Daughters Dream
Wonderful book! Read the series. It’s a tear jerker! My Dad’s grandparents came from Bern Switzerland to Indiana in the 1800. It made it interesting to read the first book.

The Lord has truly spoken to me through this book. From the first series to this, the Lord has blessed with stories of amazing women. The Lord truly used it to speak to me. The book is not just a Christian book. It’s a book about courage, the importance of healing and loving the write way, and a story of grace and compassion!I’m blessing God for new perspectives ❤️

So good!
Mothers and daughters - and ne’er the ‘twain shall meet. Mothers love, but daughters don’t know their mother’s stories, and therein lie the hurts and generational damage. This story captures then heals. With Jesus knowing the way.

This series is like healing balm to a troubled soul.
This series was like a therapy session for me. So many parallels and situations that I could relate to and use to work through my own struggles. Sometimes I cried and was afraid to read on, but reminded myself that this was fiction. The Biblical scripture references at the right times sent me into the Word of God to seek His answers to the emotions stirred by what I had read. All families have their skeletons and troubles, this series gave me some respite and perspective about my own.

Her daughter’s dream
My name is Hannah and I am 12 years old. The first Francine Rivers book I read was a lineage of grace and I loved it. Then I read the first one and it was great. Thought Francine's book always include some love things and physical descriptions there is one in this book that was a little too much for me. I was reading before bed and it made me cry so much I went to look for my mom. It’s a great book for mothers and daughters to read together or by yourself too but I think it’s not great for younger girls. If your child already knows about some things and is experiencing some changes it will be more likely she understands though I still think some things the parents should read with them and explain. Apart from that I loved the saga it was great to see everything come together and I truly recommend this book for teenage girls and women. I love that River's books are christian and love fiction. It’s really catching and at least I don’t know any other books that I can read about love in a Christian, healthy way. That combination is amazing. This book talk about things that really happen and the things that young women really go through, the sins and temptations it doesn’t lie about the world and how horrible it is. It’s really awakening and I totally recommend it to you. Sorry if this was to long, I hope you enjoy this book.

A true-to-life family with issues
This is the second of a two-book series by Francine Rivers. The first one is "Her Mother's Heart." If you are a mother, have a mother, have a daughter, or love any of the above, this book will touch your heart. No fairy tale, these two books are very realistic about the struggles, hurt feelings, misunderstandings and grief often involved in the complicated relationships between mothers, daughters, granddaughters (and those who love them). Although sad in many places, it also reveals why those troublesome relationships are so worth it--the joy and laughter and strength a close-knit group can share.I'm always extra-critical of Christian writing since so much of it in the past was...well, awful. The influence of God in each of the lives chronicled in this story is inspiring and a vital part of this family. As always, Ms. Rivers' writing is so good it fades into the background until the reader is conscious only of the unfolding story without having to notice the grammatical mistakes, typos, awkward sentence structure and uneven character development of many published writers. I read the first book in a single day and couldn't wait to find this one, the second in the series. I highly recommend both.

Lovely
This was a warm and much needed story. Only complaint is that some of it was too much of a fairy tale, where everyone had huge houses and plenty of money. Things don't work out that well most of the time.
