So I live in Hawaii and a friend was going to da mainland. Knowing you can get products at Grocery Outlet for less than at the health food store I asked her to pick up some maca for me. I didn’t tell her any brand name. Now I’ve had maca before. I can’t say I love it but it’s tolerable. However when I had some of this it tasted so much worse. I was forcing myself to eat it. I was even adding peanut butter and anything else to make it more Palatable. I couldn’t. So the problem was I couldn’t return it as one I didn’t have the receipt but I would have had to purchase an airline ticket and go to that same place that it was returned from. Unfortunately I had her pick up at least 4 of themSo I called the company to complain about their product. I thought there was something wrong with it. They claimed there are different types of maca, so maybe that’s why there was a difference. But believe I’ve had two different brands and neither were as bad tasting as this.
