I've got one and it's never boiled yet i supposed if you let it flatten your car battery it might???

Q: can this kettle be used while car is stationary?

The cigarette lighter socket in my car doesn’t work when the engine isn’t running. If it did, I’m sure the kettle would drain the battery! We find this a very efficient kettle. We put cold water in before we leave home, and it quickly heats sufficient to make a good hot cup of tea!

Q: Can anyone please tell me what fuse it uses. The fuse shattered when pulling it out. Thanks

The fuse is a F10 250v glass fuse. It’s rating is marked on the metal end of the fuse.

Half fill kettle for 1 mug will take around 15 to 20 minutes on 24v system
