Fun little kits
Bandai has amazing detail. The model arrived quickly and was exactly as ordered. Fun to build.

Poor Quality
The wing parts to this model were molded incorrectly. If you follow the instructions very closely these wing components do NOT correctly match up! I have assembled 8 other Star Wars models by this brand and am very happy with the excellent quality. This particular x-wing model, however, is horrendously lacking accuracy. Do not waste your money on this product.

Model
Smaller than expected and was green in color. But still a nice collectible.

Junk
You get what you pay for with this model. Very loose and poorly made. I tossed it in the trash.

Another great Bandai kit, just beware the stickers.
I'm a huge fan of the Bandai Mecha Colle and Vehicle Models collection of kits. They are inexpensive, small so they take up less space to display, quick to build so I can knock one out in an afternoon or evening, and they are still highly detailed and fun to build up.This kit comes in 2 colors green for the x-wing and black for the stand. I was expecting in typical Bandai fashion to have at least green and white parts based on the color of the ship, but unfortunately this is all one color. The white, grey, light green and red parts are created using the stickers. Since not everyone paints their kits, I think this is an important item to point out as over half of the model requires stickers. Unfortunately the stickers have to cover contoured and detailed sections of the ship so they do not always lay down flat or conform the model as nicely as one would hope. So if you prefer to use stickers, this may not be the best kit in the collection. I would recommend skipping the stickers entirely and painting this kit. Masking wasn't very difficult so it was easy enough to paint.Prior to purchasing this kit, I had built up the #002 X-Wing kit from the original trilogy. That kit was a blast to build and much fun to paint and weather. This kit was different enough in design to make me not feel like I was just repeating the last X-wing. The wing design is different and even the fuselage was designed a bit differently. About the only thing that seemed the same were the lasers.Again I had a fun time building and painting this kit. It warranted less weathering but in the end made a great addition to my collection. If it had better color separation by using 2 colors instead of stickers, this would have received 5 stars.Aside from the stickers this was still a nice build.
