The staple recordings remain, with 'Hotel California' the most immediately recognizable, as well as hits like 'Lyin' Eyes' and 'New Kid in Town'. Also included is their single 'Hole in the World', written as a response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Like many of The Eagles' songs, the difficult and confrontational subject matter is softened by their trademark vocal harmonies.

Awesome Album
A very awesome album. Definitely the collection of hits from the Eagles. Of course others may say need this song or this one. But just like who the Eagles are, so many hits, cannot just put them all on one album. If you to reflect on concerts in the past, or even want to know what to expect, this CD will give you that feeling.

A truly great Greatest Hits collection!
This collection pretty well lives up to the title - Complete Greatest Hits. The original Eagles' greatest hits CD lacked a lot of their best music - it's tough to capture all their best on what was a 10-song or so collection!This one is significantly expanded and outstanding! We purchased the British-produced version of the CD. It was a little cheaper than the US-produced version, but contains the same music content. Production level/sound quality seems the same to my ears. No reason to spend more for the identical content!This is a truly great greatest hits collection from one of America's iconic rock groups.
